Destiny the manager made the hugest deal over 2 extra dressings I ordered and did not get. Not only did they say the had ran out of ketchup, they also didn’t have my order ready which I had placed 30 mi utes before and paid for so I could just pick it up and not wait since my lunch break is only 30 minutes, but when I went back to ask for the correct dressing and the 2 extra pks that I ordered. The Mgr Destiny refused to give them to me. Then, after I showed her proof I had ordered 4 in total. She said I had to repurchase them. It’s not about the dressing, because I could’ve just bought them again, it’s about her attitude, not what she said, but how she said it. CFA is known to have great service, it has failed with this girl, it was ridiculous what she was doing while holding up the line, I showed her the receipt plus the tags they put on each salad and still refused to believe I had ordered two extras. This made me feel as if I was trying to cheat them and get food for free! It made me have such an ugly moment and to top it off, my kids experienced this service and behavior from this girl. I finally pulled up the app and downloaded my receipt to my email and showed her where it said 2 for each salad. I understand that we all work for a living, but some people shouldn’t be in customer service jobs if they do t have the attitude to know how to handle situations. It’s not what you say, but how you say it. She made me have such an ugly experience that I didn’t want to eat after that and experienced a huge headache due to this behavior. I don’t want free food, I don’t need free food. I just want the same respect that I give you and expect what I pay for, nothing else. I can say I’ve had several incidents with this store in particular and it got resolved or at least did their best to make things better, but this interaction is by far the worst I e experienced ever, I really doubt I will ever go back to this CFA ever. This girl really really took advantage of her position and was...
Read moreWell first off to start off, the food was okay. So let me start from the beginning. I am a First Responder and visit these locations alot. We have the common courtesy to park away from all the parking spaces closest available to other customers as we too are customers but in an ambulance. When we get honked at by unk yet but we find out it was the Owner/ General manager Rudy Martinez. To move our ambulance because he wanted the space we were in. Next we get our food and sit and start eating. When we're about to finish the owner approaches us, sits at our table and starts to tell us that the space was his, he likes to park there and why we took up two spaces. Why couldn't we have parked across the street and walked over to his restaurant. Mind, we are paying customers, he then proceeds to in a nice yet rude manner to tell us he loses 400 dollars a day when we park with an ambulance in those spaces. Truthfully, in wasn't done eating my lunch but that was unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to first responders. He wants all first responders to park away from his restaurant because to him it's money and for us it's easier for us to leave and not cause a traffic jam In case of an emergency. I think this manager needs to be retrained in common courtesy towards his customers and not tell them his back story of where he came from and how he has made it in life. We left with my unfinished meal thrown away. Upsets me greatly how disrespectful he was to us in a room full of people sitting and eating and watching his display of character. Rudy Martinez GM, you owe all the first responders an apology for being as...
Read moreWell today is definitely the last time I’m ever going to eat at this chick fila. It’s not the first time that I’ve had a bad experience at the North 10th St and Trenton location. There was only one vehicle in front of me and they were taking a long time to give them their food. When it was my turn to get my food it was starting to take long time too and I could see already several vehicles behind me. I asked what was taking so long and I was informed that they were waiting on my coffee. I then saw an employee starting up the coffee machine. What restaurant in their right mind does not have fresh coffee at 8AM! I told them that I would not be waiting any longer. The employees did not apologize or offer me another beverage. Two months ago again the restaurant was NOT busy and they were taking 25 minutes to make me a grilled chicken sandwich with egg white and no cheese. Seriously? It took 5 more minutes to be issued a refund. This chick fila used to be the best one in McAllen. I used to go there often. The employees were always super busy cleaning and greeting the customers. There used to be an older male behind the counter efficiently running the business. I haven’t seen him for awhile now. Maybe that’s why this chick fila has deteriorated. Well I guess no more salty...
