H-E-B — Local services in McAllen

They have their workers go out in thunder and lightning all the time, maybe a visit from OSHA will make them stop that. (This incident happend AUG.10 2024 ) I was doing a delivery order there and an employee left the cart behind my car there was thunder and lightning so i told the manager to take it back in because she was confrontatious and told me in a rude way if i was going to take if if not she will assign another driver, i told her to take it back in because it was pouring rain and lightning and she said some insulting words and wemt back in. Whe the lightning passed i walked out and asked for the order, the supposed manager janette came out and told me that she wasnt gonna give me the order and they called the apps cs and canceled my order stateing i was confrontatious and telling them badwords wich was a lie and they got my order canceled i was like ok and left, later that day i recieved another order so i went and that time another manager with the name of jacque came out and said they were gonna cancel all my orders i asked why and she said because there been issues i said there is none on my side and just a misunderstanding she said no we wil lstill be canceling your orders on our end wich they did and got me suspended from the app because they claimed i was threatning them, saying badwords and all kinds of things. It was a bad day so i wemt to the beach 2 weeks and came back so i went back to work and recived around 4 orders from there, wich i recorded them all, no interaction or even a word was crossed with any employee so everything went well till the end of the day i recived an email stateing that at heb i was being rude, saying badwords, threatning etc to the employees their when i did the orders wich was clearly a lie because i recorded everytime i went. I dont understand how heb allows these employees to lie about those stuff amd get away with it. Why do they damage others peoples source of income. Apperantly those managers took it personal me telling them it was unsafe for them to have their employees out with tjat weather a retaliated against me.. heb is supposedly all about costumer service but with those people there the problems are going to keep on happenimg specially in the curbside area. These are the 2 managers that came out. A video example of how employees just leave the carts behind the car and how the employees are putting bags on their feet because they are forced to go out in thunder, lightning and heavy rain weather. If your kids work here please ask them if they are ok and if they are being abused...

I never felt so humiliated, embarrassed ,unsafe and discriminatied at the store HEB location #901 Trenton Rd McAllen Texas . I went to buy some medicine and other stuff I saw this 2 hello kitty plushies that were $7.20 each . As I paid it rang at 10 dlls so a cashier told me to go to the customer service so they can give me a refund of the plushies because it was not the price it was showing on the big bin that they had them. So while I was waiting the cashier Gloria told me to move to my side and the manager Leslie from customer service was gonna help me . While I was waiting to the side I’m giving priority to another customer to continue with their purchase so I wount hold up the line , the manager Leslie was coming so the customer next to finish with her refund , I moved to my right so I can be the next because after all I was waiting also in line but aside . When a white male customer was yelling at me and threatening me that he was gonna call his cops friends if I didn’t move . I explained the white male with his white female partner that I was not cutting line that I was already there waiting for my turn cus I step aside so I wount have to hold the line while manager Leslie was coming .White male customer and partner continued to threaten me on calling the cops on me. I was confused because I didn’t know why would he even call the cops for . He mentioned twice he was calling his friends cops . As I stood there I asked Manager Leslie to say something to tell them I was first then them and she just ignored me let that while male and partner Harrassing me and threatened me . I asked the cashier Gloria to tell them I was there first I wasn’t cutting line . She ignored me she didn’t defend me or say anything and let them keeping harassing me. Manager Leslie wanted me to move and give priority to the white male and female . I said no that I was already in-line waiting all this time . She kept my receipt and said infront of everyone I’m not dealing with this. She left me there all embarrassed 😞. Never in my life ! As a costumer and Ex employee. Never thought the unprofessional way the manager and cashier handle the situation. I’m heartbroken this happend at my local store where I...

So my son is legitimately allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts (blood test proven, etc.), and well we keep those products out of our house. So shopping can be extremely limiting! Frustrating! BUT, this HEB, this one on Trenton has more variety and selection for those (like my household) who require it! Many vegan alternatives! And some of those products are actually HEB owns makings, impressive. Also, love the "select ingredients" green check mark labels showing the clean makings of the product(s), truly catching up to modern quality and HEB isn't behind. The "veil has been lifted", knowledgeable! What the next generation deserves for better health. The staff has always been friendly. Excellent with cleaning up the parking lot carts! The music inside HEB always makes me smile, "the little things" make a difference. Being a busy Mom like most, these little outings are my only outing and it is helpful when the experience is a positive one. 1 time I was caught up talking/explaining to my 2 little chicks at check-out and forgot to hand my coupons that were in my back pocket! Ah! I went back 2 days after and showed the Cashier my receipt and the coupons in combination and they kindly assisted though I missed previously! The workers will helpfully hunt down 1 of those super cool racecar looking carts if I ever need one in desperation lol (keeps the little ones content! Phew)....
