I'm so happy that they finally opened a Daiso location in Mcallen. I have visited the one in Seattle and just fell in love with the store. Everything is so cute and affordable. It is just a cuter version of Dollar Tree that sells Japanese snacks and drinks, Sanrio merchandise, and other household and stationary items. Most items are $1.75 and most of the shelves are stocked with a lot of cute items from Japan. The employees are so sweet and welcoming when explaining how to convert the Japanese yen into US dollars. I enjoy shopping at Daiso. The store has a lot of interesting yet practical and useful everyday items. Great place to buy gifts. Japanese products are of quality and the snacks are better health wise than what our regular chips (as far as I’m concerned). I recommend this place and I will shop here instead of the Dollar store.
