Salad bar was the cleanest I had ever seen it, but it was also lacking so many toppings. Salad itself was dried out and had plenty of bruising. Cheese sticks look better than ever as well but no marinara sauce. I asked what seemed to look like a wannabe manager about the sauce and he said "it will be out shortly", paid at 1:08 and left at 1:46 and still no marinara. Very little selection of pizza. Coke was STILL out (noticed 6 days ago someone posted it was also out) Dr Pepper was also out. No sprite option, instead a whole dispenser dedicated to water ALONG with having the water handle on the same dispenser. I noticed two ladies walk to the fountain then over to the pizza counter where a employee went to the back and came back with 2 cans of Cola (cheap imitation coke). I had 2 slices of pizza due to the fact that they were not of standard quality(and thats because my bar for this place is already low) and caused me to lose myappetite. Thought I would at least have some sweets to get my money worth....joke was on me. No Brownie option, no sweet pizza option, only had the choice of over over-baked cinnamon rolls. Tables were not properly or completely clean as well. I do not understand what is going on but it keeps getting worse every time we go. I don't understand why I continue to go and still tip each time. It is a total ripoff to ask for a tip before your experience. I wish I could request back EVERY tip I've ever left(no less than $60 I'm sure)
DISAPPOINTED beyond measure.
$30 for this experience...I wouldn't even pay a homeless to come eat here.
Things need to get fixed ASAP if not, go ahead and order a set of chains and lock it up; I can purchase them so there is no delay...
Read moreI really hope the owner sees this post. It’s a 6:40 PM on a Sunday evening mind you this place closes at 10 PM at night and it seemed that there was 15 minutes to go before closing . Upon arriving only two employees, one making pizzas and one cashier helping the other gentlemen making pizzas were only in the front. There were no pizzas on the buffet, table no lettuce , no vegetables, no soups and no pasta and not to mention the whole entire place was dirty and filthy. After waiting around for a few minutes, I asked one of the two boys to ask for the manager. The manager Maria Ocanas walks out from being in the back with her son (also a worker) and another worker, I then explain to her that her establishment that she is so-called running is a filth and is disgusting, I tell her she needs to be a manager and be out here and manage instead of being in the phone in the back! She then really rolled her eyes at me is very rude disrespectful and seems as if she hates her job! If this place has cameras in the back I would ask corporate and to go back to this date and time to verify her on the phone instead of doing her job! I would never come back and i will make sure that everyone knows this about this CICIs in McAllen Texas! I would not even give this place 1 star...
Read moreWe got there there around 5pm and there was no pizza at the buffet bar. We waited for about 15 minutes for it to come out. There was not pasta/noodles either and I had to wait about 10 for that to come out. As soon as it came out I got some and poured marinara sauce over it, and it ended up being cold. I had to wait over 10 minutes for the marinara sauce to be warmed up.
They are lacking variety of pizza, most of the good ones from a couple of years back are not offered anymore. The times we got pizza, there was always 1 or 2 that were cold.
At the end, I was finally able to get desert since we also had to wait for it to come out. Once I got to the table, my wife notices a long piece of hair stuck to the side of a cinnamon roll. I told the manager about it and all he stated was " That's a big one".
I had ordered a personalized pizza for my wife when we first got there and it finally came out around the time we found the hair in the roll and we were taking off at that point.
I did see the manager spreading out dough for the pizza since we got there, and helping out with whatever he could. If they had a more enployees working there around the rush hours, I think that they would improve the quality of food and spend less time talking to customers about...
