I love Golden chick, the food is excellent, it never disappoints however my last experience is worthy of a review to write about. My wife and kids and I arrived at this location at 10:37pm as you can see on the receipt. Our order took very long. Granted, I understood that they probably didn't have enough tenders for my order, but we waited patiently. My order came out at 10:50pm but it was all bagged to go. My wife asked for plates and they said they couldn't give it to us because the diner was closed. We were never told this when we arrived. This location has an outdoor eating area and asked the manager, a lady with dark frame glasses and tattooed arms if my family and I could eat outside and we would make sure not to leave a mess. The manager was not very empathetic and was very blunt saying that we could but once the crew was done cleaning, we would have to leave, that we couldn't stay due to the alarm. (Even though the outside area doesn't seem to have anything that might trigger an alarm.) Other dining locations always have the courtesy of letting you eat as long as you go in within diner hours. Upper management should add what time their diner is closed, or something that says only to go after such and such time, maybe saying diner closed at 10:30 pm so that way only drive thru is open. This occasion was a course one of those where they didn't want to deal with the customer because manager in duty wanted to leave early. I will be sharing this experience with other civil servants that I work with that come to this location so that they don't have to end up eating their order in the car, which is what the cashier suggested. Read moreIve been coming here ever since this place opened and when no one reallly came. Today I had one of those self entiteld workers...u know the generation. I had to repeat the order on 3 times till she got it right. Btw before you jump on it...no she wasnt new. Before that I was waiting while some other self entitled person took forever to place an order. Think the self entitled worker told her she had other customers to attend....nope....but when she called me "fisty"...in an effort to futher escalate the situation. I called her out on it...but of course she wanted to have the last word and thats when she said " I have other customers".
Oh but she wasnt done..she purposely puts the order to go. Which means people who may or may not wear gloves have to take it out and put it on a plate...
The guy then says..do you need anything else..and i say yes...an apology.
Do i get it..no..
So whats a customer to do..well not go there no more and invite others to post on this platform so that other customers dont go through the same thing.
I love the chicken...but we don't need the side of shade or attitude. I DONT SEE THAT...
Read moreService is normally great, but today was different. We normally don’t go as soon as they open at 10:30am, but we did today because we enjoy getting their sweet tea. No one was at the drive thru at all, so we went inside and the kids that work there and manager were all dragging ass. The lights were still off inside. You can easily tell no one wanted to be there. The manager tells my boyfriend, “Yes, can I help you!?” Really rude as if it’s our fault they weren’t ready and we were there when they opened. Another thing I hate so much is the transition to gallon bags from gallon bottles. They always spill, it is SO inconvenient! Well today, taking it out of my car, UNOPENED (clearly the seal still failed, but worse today), it spilled all over my pants, my car seat and into the bag itself! Ridiculous! They need to go back to plastic gallon bottles because they can’t say the bag is to reduce plastic as they still give it to you in a separate plastic bag since they know it’s going to spill with the non functioning seal on the bag.
