Love this place! My wife and I crave this spot at least once a month. The fried fish is very lightly breaded, but the breading stays on, even when cutting with just a fork. Tartar sauce is divine, as is the rice. Starting the meal with consommé is a nice touch, as are the complimentary chips, salsa, and fijoles refritos. I always add a shrimp cocktail for the table, but last time we were there, I decided that I was going to get the plate that comes with its own shrimp cocktail because it seems like a better deal overall, and I can have it all to myself.

On a side note, the hot sauces available to take your meal to the next level are top-notch. Try the red one if you like a lot of heat.

This place gets busy and stays that way, so expect to wait a little while at peak times, and especially on Sundays. The service is usually very good; the only thing is that sometimes the servers are too polite--the won't bring you the check until you ask for it, even if you're clearly finished, which has happened to me several times, but I rarely go when I'm in a rush because I want to savor my food when I'm there.

Check this place out when you get a chance. They have several locations throughout the upper Valley, with more...

The server we got was just the worst... it was only 3 of us asked for 2 cokes and 1 water with no ice ...he brings a tea , a sprite and a water FULL of ice. Then when he's bringing the chips beans and lemons to the table and has the audacity to eat from our chips, gross!!!! I got no idea what he has going on here but he keeps arguing with his coworkers as well and to top it off when he brings the stuff he's not paying attention and literally dropped our chips all over the table, when we asked for more he literally rolled his eyes and took more then 10 minutes to bring us more chips while the beans sat there getting cold! We didn't once get asked for a refill so we took it upon ourselves to ask the manager and let her know that he had been picking from peoples plates as well as touching his beard and face then getting chips to serve people with his bare and unwashed hands... after that the managers took care of the situation but just know if u go here and Jonathan is ur server GOOD LUCK! still waited another 10 minutes just for a to go box 🤦🏻‍♀️

The managers were excellent it was just...

I've found a new favorite seafood place!!!I'd driven by this place several times and finally stopped to try it out on a whim. So glad I did! I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very clean and the waiter we had was friendly, attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. Started off with Micheladas (4.99) and the bartender prepared the mix perfectly. Had the right amount of spice in the Clamato mix that lasted the entire 12 oz beer that I chose. We then had the avocado and shrimp appetizer (8.99). Delicious! 4 avocado halves topped with a generous amount of a mayo/shrimp salad atop a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. This appetizer could easily serve 4 people. We then shared (since the appetizer was very filing) the #2 Combo (3 shrimp, 2 fish fillets, seasoned fries, white rice and a side tomato/lettuce salad (9.99) the shrimp, fish and fries were prepared perfectly. I really liked their version of tarter sauce too. I'll definitely...

08/01/25: My friend Miro recomended this place because my Dad wanted fish. He ordered a fish plate don't know what its called my mom ordered tacos torriados and I got the botana for one. My mom and dad love their food. My dad he loved the fish plate and my mom said it was the best tacos she has had and she is Mexican. The botana for me was good, but I could have been better. The fajita was great but it could have been better. The tortilla chip were good but they were not homemade. The food was good don't get me wrong but It could have been better. What I did like is that the botana did not come with tortillas and the waiter brought me some anyway, which was cool of him.

This is my favorite seafood place. The prices, portions and taste are great. Service is awesome. Place is always clean and they have multiple locations. I have visited the one in north 10th, on cage in Pharr and now there new location in Pharr on I road. I have tried the fish tacos, caldo de pescado y Camaron combo ( not on the menu but they have it), fajita and shrimp plate, fajita panchos, stuffed avocados all delicious 😋. I also tried their fish and shrimp ceviche plate with fresh cucumbers. Shrimp ceviche very good but spicy and fish ceviche had a strong fishy taste for me.
