I went to this Shipley's when I was young until about 18-20 yrs old. I'm now 45, it's still there. The owner was super sweet, nice guy. I thought I wonder if there's new owners, he said nope, I've been here 45 years! I probably made your donuts when you were coming here as a kid! My favorite, the devil's food donut, which I mistakenly call the Dare Devil, lol, is just like I'd remembered it! PERFECT! One thing though, not a bad thing just a mention. We went back before leaving the valley. Chose 4 devil's, and a couple of others. I was excited to show off these donuts in Austin. When we arrived we found that 2 of the four devil's were filled with a clear vanilla tasting filling. I think they forgot to add the chocolate to their mix. Those 2 we're pretty 🤢. He got upset and said that he can't do anything that we had to go the next day. So yeah.. no I don't recommend anyone to go to this place go to a different Shipleys because this business has horrible customer service and they take...

I live less than 5 minutes away and although the drive isnt far its inconvenient especially when you leave disappointed that's why I'd rather drive 15 minutes to Krispy Kreme but have a better outcome. The least the lady at the window could have done is let me know there aren't any if there weren't fresh glazed ones and I would have opted for a different type but she just gave me a dozen nasty cold old ones and sent me on my way....
