Brought relatives here who wanted cabrito. The positives are all in regard to the taste of the food. The leg meat was soft and moist on a sizzling plate. I had the sizzling ribs. Also very tender with some nice char bits. The shrimp is large and crispy.

As for the cons. It's pricy. For 3 of us at lunch, it came out to almost 85 dollars. I didn't care for the baked potato. Not enough butter and wrong type of cheese for a classic bake potato. The decor is, shall we say, on the "rustic" side. Although my relatives liked it, I thought it had a cheap feel compared to the price of the food. Finally, service was passable. There were 3 waiters and they always felt like they were struggling. Took a while to get seated, get in our order, get our order, get refills, get condiments. The whole experience was a constant stream of "Excuse me" for the same reason over and over. Still when they were attentive they were very attentive trying their best to get everything needed and correct

So all in all a decent place for a niche reason. There are plenty of other Mexican and Tex-Mex places you can go for the usual fair bit if you are a die hard fan of cabrito, it's...

I went online to view menu and ordered young goat /shoulder blade cooked over open mesquite for $27.99 as advertised and asked for refried beans instead of charro beans. I proceeded tp pickup my order at drive thru window, cashier said total is $31.38, I hand her a $50 bill and went to my office to have my lunch. I end up finding out cabrito is only oven cooked not mesquite smoked or grilled, she gave me charro beans instead of refried, she charged me $28.99 plus tax and she was $2 short in change. I called spoke to Julio and all he said was to go back for $2 and sorry for the mistake in beans and the plate rate has not been updated online. I'm not sure if Julio is the owner or not but it is false advertisement on menu from the way it's cooked to price. I cannot believe Julio's response. I will make sure not to recommend this place to anyone, especially with that type of customer service and cashier, pretty much stealing...

We had breakfast there and it's a pretty good deal. We were surprised that it came with 3 eggs instead of the usual two so it was a nice surprise. The service was good and so was the food however everything seemed to have a little bit of a goat taste that I didn't really like, probably because there are cabritos cooking in the kitchen and the food may absorb some of that flavor. The waiters were attentive and courteous and took care of our drinks on a timely basis. I read that one reviewer called it a ghetto area and was concerned about getting mugged. I've always felt safe in that shopping center at least during the day; it may be a different story at night since there are a few dive night clubs in the area. This intersection is surrounded by reputable businesses other than the cantinas that spoil the area. All in all a pretty good experience and...

I will start by saying that the prices of the food here is exaggerated for what you get. I ordered the huevos rancheros and for $9.99 you get 2 eggs, potatoes and refried beans that's it, the bacon was $2.99 extra. The eggs were almost cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was tasty, the refried beans were delicious, the potatoes were pretty bland, the bacon was good but to much crispy for my taste. Honestly for that price range the breakfast should include at least some meat (ham, bacon etc.) or at the very least a fried tortilla under the eggs. The place looks really nice inside, but the prices for what you get are outrageous.

We had decided to come and try Rebecca’s for the cabrito. My wife ordered the rillonada and I ordered the machito. Both plates were so good and tender. We were very impressed by the food portions and flavor. We had gone to another restaurant and the machito was not nearly as good as Rebeccas. This was our first time here at Rebecca's and will definitely be coming back. My only suggestion will be the service as far as the waiters need to be a bit more attentive to us. We had to get our waiters attention to remind him of our drinks. But other than that it was a great experience.
