This afternoon we decided to go to Burgatory in McCandless, as soon as we walk in the manager gave us a "look" and instead of saying Hello table for 3? or something like welcome to Burgatory, like in a good, polite manner his words were; Can I help you? like if we were in the wrong place or we weren't welcome there. I said a table please. He toked us to a booth and I mention that the table was very sticky, if it could be cleaned up, he offer us another table but we said the booth was fine (we have a toddler) if it could just be cleaned up. Again with a rude face, he went to grab the bottle of cleaner and a towel, and instead of spraying on the towel and then clean the table, he just sprayed on the table. The cleaner went on our clothes. We have a baby, for all i care it could've been plain water but we don't know what chemical are used in the cleaner. When i mention to my husband that his attitude was very rude, he asked to speak to a manager, he was like; I'm the manager, I asked him if he would be okay going to a restaurant were he wanted to eat and would be okay with someone cleaning his table the way he did to us, his response was I wouldn't have a problem (with a smirk). We were not comfortable and decide to leave. My husband went to ask him for his name and he said Shawn C. His body language was just horrible like if he was having a bad day. If you're the manager you should be the example of how to treat costumer. This was very unpleasant. We wont be going...
Read moreI reserve the right to review this place again, as I will definitely be back, and I will show pictures, not only of the yummy food, but of the clever menus, wall directions, and unusual spaces. If you are wondering what I am talking about, let me invite you to go there and check this place out. Pay attention to everything you see here, and enjoy all you taste. We went back here several weeks later, so this is updated. The decor of this place is just as great as the food, as you can see by the interior and menu. Please take a minute to actually read the walls and menu...somebody did creative justice to both and it is delightful. Our server was Audrey, who waited on us promptly, with a smile and was very attentive to our needs throughout lunch. My friend had the standard deluxe burger and I custom created a natural ground chicken patty, (which looked like a burger!), topless, with magic mushroom rub, white American cheese, dill pickle chips and sea salt and seasoned fries....YUM....here's my recommendation. Go to the great cinema right down the street then go here to eat. A great time will be had by all. Check out...
Read moreTab was $90 for two people. The service was so bad it was impossible to even enjoy the food. The person seating is was rude as hell; we didn't have an actual server, the bartender had to wait on us which is fine and all... But it took them 20 minutes to even bring water and ask what drinks we wanted. It was about 830 PM so a couple hrs before close.
We figured maybe our server was out for lunch when we got in and let that slide, but after we finished dinner it took 20 mins AFTER we were done eating for US to request the check.
This is some of the worst service we've had at a restaurant. They weren't short staffed; the bar had maybe 5 people to care for, and maybe 3 parties at tables; they had at it and like 3 cooks, 3 servers working and a bar tender.
Pretty sad as my partner has been a long time customer and hyped up about going here.
$90 + a 20% tip and the experience was absolute HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money. We've had better service from McDonalds and a pack of beer from the gas station for...
