Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in McDonough

Went in to get a blizzard for my ex wife so I could see my kids. I walked in and couldn't even get a good afternoon. I almost walked out but I remembered how my ex wife loves your blizzards. I got the very worst customer service when the cashier said she'd give me an HIV for less money than having to work the register. I kept that in mind when I ordered acookie dough blizzard with extra nuts that my ex wife loved to have in her mouth. Karen loves nuts. Karen also took the kids, so I have to keep Karen happy so I can see my kids. I go months without having visitation to them so I have to be sure Karen is satisfied. I was feeling a little empty on the inside so I ordered a chocolate Sunday because I love the way chocolate feels in my mouth. I paid with exact change and still got 10 cents back somehow but I am an honest man so I kept the change. I was going to take a seat but the chairs looked really flimsy and I dont want to break the furniture so I went to the restroom to sit on the toilet instead. It was the worst decision I've ever made in my life. I sat on the toilet and immediately had a burning sensation. I sat for a few more minutes to make sure it wasnt just my eating habits, and then returned to pick up my ice cream. I left and when it was too late to realize, they forgot Karen's extra nuts. She didnt let me see my kids and sent me on my way. Terrible experience overall, but I have an HIV so at least I have something positive to write about...

At Approximately 2:45 on July 16, 2018 my 5 yr old and I walked in to Dairy Queen. Now granted im a Manager of another DQ myself Im very partial to the brand and service that is expected. My son wanted the 2 piece kids meal and I ordered a $6.00 Buck Lunch Crispy Chicken Sandwich witb Mayo and Mustard only. We ordered it for here the food was brought out to us by the cook I presume in bags. I overlooked that. I opened up my bag and my sons. My bag had a burger of some sort. Obviously thats not what I orded. So I took that back and the girl at the front counter didnt apologize just walked to the back. So I went and sat back down and proceeded to unpack my sons food. As soon as I laid his chicken out a baby ROACH crawled out of the bag that my son's chicken is in. My son starts replying there is a BUG in my food. I gathered my stuff and my son and we walked back to the counter and told the girl who had helped us before that a ROACH crawled out of his food bag and I just wanted my money back. I completely lost my appetite. The manager didnt come out and apologize or anything. The girl came back with coupons and said I could take these or get my money back. NEVER WILL I EVER EVER GO BACK...

Terrible service, the employees on duty the night I went were very rude. My 4 year old son received a coupon for a free ice cream cone from our local library. We went there and the 3 employees acted as if we were less than because we had a coupon. The lady who made my son's ice cream didn't even ask him what flavor ice cream he wanted she just assumed he wanted vanilla. Then she had the audacity not to even place it in his hand she just slid it across the counter to him. No one asked me if I wanted to order anything else they just turned there backs to us and continued talking. My older 10 year old son was also with me and wanted an ice cream too, but considering how rude they were I refused spend any of my money there. The funniest part about the situation is this is the nastiest, dirtiest Dairy Queen in Henry County so for them to act like they were better than me and my children was absurd. The only reason I even went to this Dairy Queen was because the location in Locust Grove said they couldn't take the coupon because it was specifically for the McDonough location. I will never patron that location again and I recommend no one else...
