If I could leave a 0 rating about this location I certainly would. I frequent huddle house because one my kids go to school near it and it’s not far from my house. Normally when I come and Carole is there I leave because she comes off as a racist, but this time I came in because my husband wanted huddle house. We realized Cassie was there and immediately knew we should have sat in her location. First she always makes me wait even if they are not packed, she is never attentive and yes I understand I’m not the only customer except when it really isn’t but 3 people in the restaurant and she still is continuously walking past the table like I should get up and cook my own food or bring it to my table myself. I ignore all of this because maybe you’re having a bad day but you can’t possibly have a bad day everyday. I got my receipt with a total of 56.26 I ask can you add my phone number she snatches the receipt and enters it now normally when I ask the next question is have you redeemed your reward so this time I did it in advance. She takes the receipt keys my number in brings me the checkout machine with the same total of $56.26. I ask “did you take off my starter she replies no you have to tell me to we can’t see that.” My next question was since when she says I never assume you’re going to use it right now. She proceeds to continue to tell me I never assume anyone is going to do anything you have to tell me how they have many customers you’re right you do but some how you always remember to have a nasty attitude with this one. I’ll say this again I eat at huddle house all the time but today was my final time eating at the Keys Ferry location. I would rather go to the Jackson locations which are a bit further out opposed to continue to be treated like I’m not paying for my food yes I have a reward but I earned that also because I spent my money. My suggestion for this location is to teach Carole a lot more customer service etiquette because this one customer will not impact her paycheck but word of mouth travels and you never know who you are actually serving. I’m going to make sure I share this great experience with...

I can testify as both a paying customer and as a very short lived employee, as a paying customer the food looked good, was hot, and overall tasted very well. The waitress personality was somewhat dry and not very personable at all and by her facial expressions could be struggling possibly within her self. As a short lived employee I can say it was a dysfunctional management from day one when I was told to be there to start work at 8:00 am and when I arrived to start the manager Mike was cooking and extremely disturbed about the cook not showing up and barely spoke a word to me and actually displayed symptoms of mental illness and for the entire first hour I sat there at the counter waiting for instruction of my job description and to begin and he never spake a word to even acknowledge anything I spoke to him. Professionalism deficit unlike I had ever seen before and had no doubt I would not be employed there for long.. Upon finally doing my job I discovered a large infestation of roaches only upon the higher uppershelves for reasons unknown to me. They were by the hundreds of them visible and God only knows how many more that were unseen.. I will never eat at this psych ward roach farm ever again. This place should be shut down for the health hazard that is completely ignored as I was unable to locate any kind of extermination pest control schedule anywhere and I searched diligently. The emotionally unstable waitresses Nicole and Shannon who barked out commands and orders at me as if they had any rank or authority at all and me just staring back at them knowing these women desperately need medication and the potentially fatal diseases and pestilence being seemingly orchestrated and protected in the back ignored and undisturbed completely is a public health hazard brewing and in the works for an outbreak at anytime in the near future. The fact that to my knowledge that no one has gotten deathly I'll from eating there is truly a miracle. Prove me wrong on anything I've stated here in this review I...

So- while I was out today my child asked me for a blueberry waffle- I stopped at this location since it was conveniently located on my home. I walked in and immediately went to the counter to place a to go order. There were 3 gentlemen cooking on the line and three additional employees standing near what appeared to be a coffee station. I stood for about 3-5 minutes and asked if I was standing in the right area to place a to go order, one gentleman stated yes and pointed in the direction of the employees by the coffee station, he indicated that some one from there would take my order. One lady started walking towards me and then walked to a table of guest to take there order. I said to myself, okay that makes sense. Now the other two employees continued to chit-chat, and one even had a black travel mug in his hand and filled it up with coffee. The next employee, then went to the register and stated "on my way" about 5 minutes later the same two employees continued to chat not acknowledging my presence. One of the gentlemen who was cooking at the time, then handed me a menu- and I said thank you, another gentleman stated Merry Christmas ma'am. I nodded and told him thank you. Now here is the clincher-no one ever came to the counter to take a to go order. The employees continued to talk around the register. This was my first encounter with Huddle House and I can truly say it will be the last. All for...

Not sure if I’ve ever been to this HH !? Maybe many years ago, but things tend to change over the years…so, here I am with this review ! 1st, it’s Huddle House. The atmosphere is what it is. 2nd, it’s Huddle House. The service is going to be what it is. 3rd, you got it…it’s Huddle House. The food is Huddle House food. Nuttin ‘ fancy, just HH food. I got the BLT with fries & it was pretty good. Our grandsons love the waffle (which had the HH initials on it), grits & eggs. As long as you know where you’re at, most likely you won’t leave disappointed or hungry 🤤

A small little busy place for good food that's close to the old shops of historic McDonough. It seems they're always lively and got customers coming and going constantly, especially near lunch time on the weekend. The service is very friendly, greeting you with a smile. Though, given how busy it is, it may be a little slow on getting a table or the food unless you're lucky enough to come during down time. Overall I would recommend it for some good country cooking. The flavor is great, service good, and it's not saturated in grease. Always a plus.

As great as I remember it in Florala Alabama when I used to bring my dad. They were short on staff but Nicole made it great. I appreciate the 1 server and cook for handling that dinner rush and keeping themselves composed. It’s not easy. This is the first time coming here without my mom and dad. RIP to both.
