It's a small park, seperated by the road it lies on. With the lake one one side and the playgrounds on the other. The big kid park is large and interactive. The music park for small kids is broken in many areas and is hazardous. Please fix this immediately. Also there are often religious people handing out fliers and will even set up a small booth, very strange and awkward to deal with. If I see the religious people there, I will drive to a different park to avoid it. The lake is a nice, quick walk. Not shaded, not recommended during prime temperatures. It's also VERY hilly, no bikes or strollers will work on the playground side. The small lake has a large path around it that is flat but there are stairs to climb before you can access the main path. There's 2 parking lots, smaller paved one for playgrounds and a second with bathrooms but it needs to be paved because its unlevel and broken apart. There's a large covered area with picnic benches closer to the bigger playground but the incline to get there is insane and I wouldn't recommend carrying more than you...
Read moreWe just needed a place to eat our Blendz Friendz. Expectations exceeded! The park is clean with an accessible trash can, no littering! They have turtles here and this is their home please respect this park. There is two playgrounds across the street from the main fountain. The fountain park area has benches and shaded areas to enjoy without being directly in the sun and you get a nice breeze. There's also cool facts around the park to read. You'll be surprised how many laps you can do to get to one mile. There's plenty of parking across the street. The parking lots are connected by both a sidewalk and pedestrian bridge. The pedestrian bridge crosses over a stream of rocks protected by a fence. The street is small and busy so be careful when crossing and items falling into the street. The park does not allow swimming, it's treated for the live creatures (fish, turtles etc)...
Read morePark is ok. From my experience the parks here are more like enjoyment for seniors or toddlers. My 6-10year old did not enjoy themselves. They were ready to go with in 5 mins. I've spent t alot of times in parks in gwinnett county as well as forsyth . Perhaps it's the budget for the parks is small . No major complaints . But I wouldnt call it a park. More like something to pass a few mins. The colors are nice and bold. Perhaps more of those funds should have been spent making it a a real park. The grounds arent really safe for playing tag. Lots of tree stumps and debris.. and that little bridge is really like a while in the ground. If your a true out doorsy. This...
