Was literally just verbally harassed by an employee. Going through the drive through around time that school lets out so it was pretty busy. I jump in, like everyone else, and wait about 10 minutes to make it to the speaker to order. The lady asks me what she can get for me and before I could even say a word she cuts me off to say their speakers are broken and I need to order inside. “Your speakers are broken but I can hear you perfectly fine?” I asked, to which she RESPONDS, “Yes ma’am we’re having trouble hearing anything I can see you talking but I can’t hear you.” “But you’re responding to me?” I say “Yes but they’re going out I can’t hear you?” she responds. “But you’re literally responding to me how could they be broken” I say. Then silence. For about 5 minutes while they proceeded to take orders from the other lane. I sat there. A few minutes later I hear “Ma’am you’re holding up my line it would probably be good cardio to get some steps in and come inside.” At this point I’m pissed because how dare you comment on my weight when she looked like she eats big macs FOR A LIVING and I am literally perfectly healthy. Yes your line is being held up because YOU WONT TAKE MY ORDER. Regardless it’s so unprofessional and immature to say to a customer. So I respond back “Baby I’m a preschool teacher AND I have a second job I get PLENTY of steps. I’m not the one that’s probably overweight” Silence for another 5 minutes. Then someone magically comes over the “broken” speaker and takes my order! Wow I guess they weren’t broken to begin with. She just didn’t like that I could tell I was being lied to. She just didn’t like the fact that I didn’t keep driving. She simply did not want to take my order and to be so incredibly rude to a customer like that, make comments about their weight, and literally try to bully them out of the drive through is INSANE. I work fast food as well and I could never imagine talking to a customer this way. She needs to be fired or seriously talked to, and y’all need to get some employees that actually care about their customers and have more than 3 brain cells and yes I did talk to a manager but these reviews seem to be the thing y’all’s supervisors care about! I hope this location has a...
Read moreIt saddens me to have to leave this review.... who am I kidding, no it doesn't! Today 2-5-22 at approximately 1 p.m. will be the last day I go to another McDonald's unless they make some major changes for the better or I'm stranded on a desert with no food or water and they are the only place around. My experience today at the Lake Dow location in McDonough, Ga was absolutely horrible!!! I began placing my order here when I was cutoff in a nice/nasty rude tone with "Will you repeat that please?" I repeated my order and was asked to drive around. When I got to the first window I was given my total after my order was confirmed. When I repeated the amount for confirmation, I was confronted with a loud attitude "No it's $20.99". I proceeded to pay and then drove to window number 2. The window opens and the employee begins handing me food with no greeting, no order confirmation just a here take this and leave now type of attitude. I took the food and asked for more napkins and the employee says "What" and looks as if they are about to turn into the Hulk. I repeated myself and they grabbed a few napkins and handed them to me as if I stank. Before pulling off my wife noticed that we had not been given the apple juices that were supposed to come with the kids meals that we ordered. I notified the employee and she responded in a loud annoyed manner with "Apple juices?". I responded with yes they were supposed to come with our meal. She grabbed 2 apple juices handed them to me almost as if she was tossing them, rolls her eyes, and slams the window shut. Guess what... we got home only to find out that the apple juices didn't even have straws. If you don't like your job find somewhere else to work, don't take it out on the customer. Ronald McDonald may need to come out of retirement and take his business back because it's being run in the ground by people who obviously don't care anything about customer...
Read moreThis is honestly the worst mcdonalds on the planet. I don't understand how they're still in business. Where do i even begin? One time years ago they gave a customer the wrong sandwich and when it was taken back to the counter to be corrected, they put it back and tried to give the same sandwich which had a bite taken out of it to another customer. Then they had the audacity to argue with that customer when he had complained that he had been given a pre-bitten sandwich. Gross. 2. About a year ago I had them argue with me when I told them they shorted me a few dollars when they gave me my change back. Went on for a few minutes, but I decided to forget it and leave because I realized that it wasn't even worth arguing with a doorknob over a couple bucks. 3. It says it's 24 hours indoor and drive thru, however, on some nights when the kids are running it, the 24 hours indoors only counts for their friends. (They seriously only unlocked the doors and allowed people they knew to come in and order.) 4. I went just the other night and there was a note saying the system was down so i drove to the window and one of the lovely employees looked at me and then continued to play on his phone while ignore me. I ended up circling around again and went through the second drive thru and there was a note on that one that said "Sorry, We Closed". Cool, that's understandable, but they could have at least said that on both notes and actually informed people instead of ignoring them when folks pulled up to the window. Several other cars did the same so I wasn't the only one. Those are just a few of the issues I've encountered over the years. I keep going back thinking maybe, just maybe they've gotten their act together over the years, however, it still hasn't happened. Maybe they should require their manager and employees to visit chick-fil-a across the street and take some notes on how an establishment...
