Update: I reached out to their “contact us” page on the main website. It said I’d hear back shortly. Never did hear anything, so I must assume they do not care. Shame. BWW went to the 🚽
Haven’t been to a BWW in many years and I asked myself if the food was always this poor of quality since I remembered it being much better. We got seated right away and the host changed tables at the last minute because it was still dirty. Bonus points for noticing it. We got situated and ordered some drinks to start. Never were told some drinks were on special or what the other specials of the day there were. Ordered the dip trio. Do not recommend. Very watery queso and bland guac. Picked out main dishes. I ordered 15 boneless wings, half sauced and half dry rub. The dry rub looked like they just dumped a can of seasoning on top. The Caribbean jerk was okay, not spicy at all. I asked for additional ranch. Never mentioned it was charged per ranch cup, which were barely half full. I asked for 4 and the waitress said why not make it 5. I said ok thinking it was no charge especially after that comment. Waitress asked if I wanted another beer. I declined but again no mention it was a special and I likely would have otherwise. Saw the sign for BOGO50 off wings and asked about it. Was told, well after ordering, it’s for traditional wings on Tuesdays. Again, no communication on specials which would have changed my mind. The waitress was nice but definitely needs more training on communication. The wife and I do not plan on returning as wing stops wings are light years ahead, at least from this experience. Lastly, please do not collect the signed checked before the guests leave. It’s awkward. I left 18% as per the...
Read moreWent here to dine with my husband bartender was absent most of the time. When we finally seen her we made sure to put in our order because we didnt know how long until we would see her next. (May I mention it was like 8-9pm and there was barely anyone there)
we ordered chips and dip trio (wanted it to come out first) and the wings for our meal. Bartender comes out with the wings and I asked her where the chips and dips was.
She looked around clueless and was like oh and walked away. When she came back she blamed it on the kitchen said the guy was new and didn't see the chips and dip on the same ticket as our wings.
Guacamole was tasteless, salsa tasted bland no spice to it, and the queso was watery and looked like snott. It wasn't even warm and the worst thing is you can tell they microwaved it because the cup it was served in was melted and had a hardened cheese ring around it. 🤢 The bartender said "well I guess if you want I can ask the manager to do half off or the whole thing but idk if he will do it" I laughed and she walked to the manager and had it removed.
I spoke to the manager and all he said was "I'm sorry, if theirs anything you need let me know" Like what? I don't feel you handled the situation well so when I didn't feel well for the next two days after and had the runs I didn't bother calling because your "help" to my "need" wasn't enough.
I feel b dubs won't be around in the next...
Read moreBelieve it or not, this was my first experience at a BWW. I can't really speak about my experience at the restaurant, other than waiting for carryout food due to COVID.
My husband and I came here after doing some last minute Christmas shopping nearby. It was close and he really enjoys the food, so I agreed. I got a spicy chicken sandwich and asked for no pickles because I hate them. I had picked on my sandwich. I picked them off, thankfully, before I bit in, but it is annoying when they come on the meal. I had a breaded chicken sandwich so that pickle juice just soaked on in. The meal was ok otherwise. Wasn't anything spectacular or something I would choose again, unless it was the best option.
The restaurant itself was clean. The women working the front desk were overwhelmed, as it was a busy Friday night. We walked in to order and waited while they made the food. They didn't have any chairs for people who wanted to wait, which I get because of COVID, but it would have been nice. Especially because I have back and leg issues. Anyhow, they were good at remembering who was waiting. They had a list going so they could check for all of them when they went back for any order. That was a great thought. I was impressed by that foresight.
Overall, I likely wouldn't go back unless it was the only option or I could dine I, when it's safe to do so. I think the atmosphere is what really has people...
