I arrived at 12:01a (the Google listing stated 1am as the close time). Assigned a third party order (placed at 11:39), I proceed to the speaker and am met with an automated message stating they were closed. I then head to the window for about 5 minutes (attempting to call the store, which must turn off their phone at close, and ultimately my service’s support line) until someone else probably going through the same issue got themselves trapped behind me. I swing to the front door for about 5 minutes and then back to the speaker and window again. At 12:15, the manager on duty finally acknowledged me.
I’ll admit I was a little curt as I had just waited 15 minutes for an order that was placed before they closed with 10 of those minutes waiting to be connected with support. The guy initially lied and said there were no live orders but, that was easily refutable as I could see the tablet with my picture and a yellow banner indicating I’ve been waiting. He then says he took of his headset at 12:00 because they were closed. I asked why he would do that if he knew a driver was on the way to pick up...he couldn’t articulate any sound reasoning. To his credit he did fulfill the order, but not without causing another person to get trapped in the drive thru. Despite the negligence, I mustered an “appreciate it,” which I even repeated because he must’ve had trouble hearing me through my mask.
This restaurant constantly fails to correctly report their business hours to third party delivery services. I know that they know how to use their tablet as they just gave me a poor rating. Too bad they don’t have that same energy when it comes to reporting their menu availability or contacting their customers when they fail to do so. Instead they insist on waiting for the driver to show up (who doesn’t start getting paid until they’re handed a completed order) and have them handle what should have been remedied before they even showed up.
I don’t generally like leaving negative reviews however, the manager on duty decided to rate me poorly due to “Late pickup.” This is not only incorrect, it is a direct attempt at affecting my livelihood as third party drivers risk deactivation if their ratings dip too low. Therefore, I feel it is warranted to add to the sea of one star ratings this location has already earned. I’m sure they’ll be fine, as will I. I can sport a 99% rating for a month or so. I've seen customers be so rude to teenage girls rushing them to take orders, my friend came home crying because a grown man in a pick up truck yelled at her about more ketchup! be nice to customer service workers and then you'll get respect back. also!! as someone who works in customer service myself yelling at a girl in the drive thru speaker bc shes repeating your order is disrespectful. some of you adults need to start acting like adults and stop being rude to kids who are trying to pay for college. since alot of the comments are y'all bashing TEENAGERS! Get a grip! and yes! Mcdonalds has new management and leaders so times have changed! they do close at 11pm Sundays through Thursdays and 12pm Fridays and Saturdays. it's not that hard to understand. if that's a problem go to Whataburger. another story I heard was a customer threw stuff at the doors and windows because they were close! again TEENAGERS WORK HERE! Imagine being so entitled to a cheeseburger that you a grown man throws stuff at kids! grow up! so before you write another bad review giving this McDonald's a bad rep bc you're too lazy and impatient to wait for fresh fries please look inside and sees who works in there and if you have a problem go cook...
Read moreMe and my 4 year old used McDonald's restroom, went to the car and realized our clothing had gotten bleach from their bathroom being soken wet (the employee that had cleaned it was just walking out the bathroom with all the supplies as we entered). And the bleach odor was very strong. I could also tell they were trying to mask drain odor. My new Victoria's Secret pants and my daughter's pant from Justice were ruined. Never mind I had to drive 30 minutes back to my house to change to run my errands. 3 months later they offered $20 as a compensation after I provided receipts and pictures! They insisted I left the restaurant and they could not be certain it happened in the restaurant -MY PANTS WERE STILL WET WHEN I CAME BACK INSIDE AND OFFERED THE MANAGER TO TOUCH MY PANTS BUT OBVIOUSLY HE WOULDN'T DO IT FOR DIFFERENT REASONS- and also that they do not use bleach. Which that was a lie. The store manager was mocking me when I tried to resolve the issue at store level. He grabbed a spray bottle and spray his pants with some bottle a different employee had handled him. I SHOULD HAVE SMEARED ON HIS PANTS THE LIQUID THAT WAS ALL OVER THE SINK COUNTER AND HIS PANTS WOULD HAVE BLEACHED INSTANTLY. But I'm not used to this type of issues nor confrontations. Never in a million years would I have thought anything like this would happen. Oh, and that lady MARYANN from their "insurance company" you should be ashamed of yourself, I don't know how you sleep at night after doing people this wrong. Stressing me even further by making find receipts that nobody keeps only to offer me $20 bucks??? Even after all the inconvenience??? You are a disgrace...
