If we could give zero stars, we absolutely would. BEWARE of this joint and the ridiculous owner. They could learn a thing or two from Benny at Italian Garden. Notice how Italian Garden has lines out the door and a wait most nights of the week and especially on weekends. It's because the food is not only good, but they know how to treat their customers with respect. Sali's has advertised in Mckinney's local magazines since opening their doors clearly bc they are desperate for business. Trust me when I say they will be getting tons of free advertising now from us for their blatant disrespect of their customers. On two occasions now, we have attempted to use THEIR OWN COUPONS for BOGO free (keep in mind, the initial coupons had NO EXPIRATION DATE listed). The first time, they blamed us for cutting off the expiration date. Um, NO, we sure didn't...try again. So my husband paid for our food on the first visit, returned with another coupon that listed an expiration date and requested the difference be refunded, which they reluctantly obliged. This evening, we attempted to use another coupon that was mailed directly to us (again, no expiration date), so my husband took the entire page with him to prove that we were NOT dishonest and didn't cut off an expiration date, and you guessed it!!! The owner would not accept it, indicating it was an old coupon and his new coupons only offered 50% off. Um, show me where it indicates just bc it's an older coupon (which you mistakenly forgot to list an expiration date), that you will no longer accept it. Good riddance buddy. We give this place 6 months max and the doors will be shut. They clearly need the business, have a blatant disregard for their customers, treating ppl as if they are dishonest (all over $5 and mind you from their own mistake), and they have not only lost a friendly neighbor and customer but word of mouth is POWERFUL beast. We will undoubtedly give them all the free advertising they need and will gladly share with all friends and neighbors in Stonebridge Ranch about their unacceptable customer service and unethical ways of business. Good riddance! Do yourself a favor and walk around the corner to Nom Nom's where they treat...
Read moreI absolutely hate doing this. I own a business and it pains me to write a bad review. But when the manager of this business says, “If you want to write a bad review, I could care less,” I believe this is warranted. My wife and I ordered through Uber Eats. This is a routine of ours and up until this past weekend, everything worked great - we’ve probably ordered “correctly” a dozen times. On Saturday we ordered and the pizza that was delivered to us was wrong. Sali’s told us that two pizzas went out and we must have received the wrong pie. No resolution. Uber refunded us and we dealt with it. Tonight, same thing. This time we call Sali’s and they say WE ordered wrong. No resolution given. We lose. They can’t do anything for us. Take it up with Uber Eats. Click. Problem is, we didn’t order wrong - the receipt is clear as anything. They made the mistake. We call the manager who was rude, impatient, combative - a tough guy. We love their pizza and it kills me that we won’t order from this awful business again. When you are told, “I don’t know what to tell you - do what you have to do, if you want to give us a bad review, go ahead,” this is a problem- for any business. I hope this helps them to reconsider who they have speaking to customers. Manager should be given a participation trophy and let go...
Read moreWhat a fantastic little spot! We were actually headed to another nearby establishment that was ended up being closed. This little restaurant was in the same plaza and had been recommended by a coworker, so we stopped in. I ordered a small 2 topping pizza, husband ordered shrimp fettucini. 2 rolls were brought out to the table prior to our meal. "Rolls" is an understatement - they were huge, fluffy and amazing. The oil/herbs for dipping was perfect. The pizza was great and my husband said the same about the fettucini. Side note , the shrimp were huge. All of the food was really good but the staff and owner were really the best part. The staff ( mostly kids it seemed) were so polite and so thorough. The owner thanked every patron for coming in. They all just really seemed to be happy to be there. There were some kids out front throwing around a football in the parking lot. Instead of going out and yelling at them to move on he took them pizza shook their hand, had what appeared to be a few kind words and they ended up going somewhere else to play. He was concerned about them hitting cars. He handled it so well. This place is a gem. I will absolutely be a frequent flier. Kudos to the owner....
