TLDR: they messed up my order, and went above and beyond trying to make it right. Staff was amazing, prompt, and professional in resolving my issue. Thank you so much.
Story:
Tonight I gave 0 stars on door dash, and I’m not sure how to take it back. I doordashed qty2 grilled cheese burrito, substituted with chicken. Upon arrival, the burrito had been grilled, but was cold upon arrival. The cheese was thrown on as if it was a last minute thought. When opened it made a mess, immediately falling out of the wrapper. The burrito itself was essentially a chicken quesadilla in burrito form. None of the ingredients were present.
Normally I just try and deal with it, but it was so bad that every bite made me more angry.
I decided it was worth getting in the car to take it back, and explained to the staff my dissatisfaction. Let me tell you. These guys were super empathetic and respectful. They remade the order promptly and wished me a safe drive home.
All I wanted was my burritos made right. And I found in my bag some cinnamon twists which was a nice gesture. As I finished my food, I noticed they had slipped some coupons for free tacos, which they absolutely did not have to do. I was touched by their willingness to resolve the issue above and beyond what I had asked for.
This 5 star review, reflects the staff tonight. Thank you to the young man at the front for dealing with me. And for the supervisor for backing him up. Read morefrom the time i placed my order at the box, it took greater than 30 minutes to get to the window, and then what felt like another 15 minutes after i had my credit card swiped by the server. for a duration of the time the staff worker was just leaning over on the desk, not assisting the cook staff with preparing food. after i had finally received my food, they did not offer a receipt. i requested a receipt, and was initially told that the machine was broken. i explained i needed it, and then they disappeared and i was told that the receipt was thrown away. i asked if one could be re-printed and then suddenly it magically re-appeared clean and pristine as if it was simply set aside. this store is intentionally not giving receipts so that they do not receive a survey, and there is no sense of urgency to accommodate customers. there was not a lot of visitors at this location, they were not super busy, when i got there, i was the 7th car in line (to the window) and took nearly 20 minutes to even get to the order box.

Read moreThis location sometimes have issues with not having employees. I went through drive-thru one night around 9 - 9:30 pm. There were only two cars ahead of me and I noticed they sat at the intercom for maybe 1 minute then proceeded to the window and slowed down but did not stop and just left. Both cars did this and I assumed Taco Bell was out of an item the customers wanted. I'm now at the intercom and no immediate response. After 1 minute, a young lady says, "I'm not taking orders because I am the only one here."
This was sad and disappointing. I don't know if the information was true that she stated, but it was sad. I would think a resolution would be instead of losing a great deal of business by sending customers away, the employee would call her immediate manager and the manager would come in and try to call other employees in once she/he got there to assist. I never thought that the employee would just blatantly tell customers to basically go away. And, by the time I was sent away, there were three more people behind me that were sent...
