I was the 3rd car in line when pulling up 9:30AM, and I didn’t get my food to leave until 10:30AM. The two cars in front of me were able to get their food within 15 minutes. I was able to get my order taken quickly, had the purchase completed immediately at the second window, and handed my drink. At that point I was told “Oh sorry for the wait, we are having issues with the system.” I waited at this window for 30 minutes. This is typical for all Whataburgers, but especially this location. I have never had an order completed within less than 20 minutes if it is daylight. I did not want to overwhelm the staff, but there was at least one manager and 4 employees. All of the employees looked utterly confused, walking around aimlessly for the entire duration of my wait. They then asked me to pull over, where I waited for an ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES. In that time, at least 8 cars were able to get their orders completed and pulled off. This means the ‘issues with the system’ was a complete lie. My hash browns only included 3 sticks, my biscuits & gravy had one single biscuit after this unnecessary wait. I was under the impression the biscuits & gravy came with 2, even if it came with one, you would’ve assumed I could have gotten anything extra due to the excessive wait. There was also 1 honey butter chicken biscuit & 1 taquito, and 1 drink that was correct. They had given me 8 sauces for some reason?? An hour of my time was wasted here, probably just cause some kids forgot about me. If your store is truly this understaff or your systems are this outdated, your customer should never have to pay for it. Why wasn’t the manager overseeing these orders?? I will gladly never return to a Whataburger as this experience has been just the icing on the cake for all of the time I have wasted in a line for...
Read moreDO NOT go to this location in the evening, especially during breakfast hours. If you have to drive 30 minutes away to the next nearest location (you don’t), you would still be able to get your food faster than you can at this store. During busy times of the night, which is literally every single Friday and Saturday night since the store was built years ago, the drive thru line is consistently 45 minutes to an hour. The service here is beyond pathetic as well. There are a couple of employees here who deserve a shoutout for actually caring, namely one guy maybe 25-30 with a mustache who has been there for years. Matter of fact, I haven’t seen him in months, so I hope he found a place that actually deserves him. Other than that, unless the employee is over the age of 20 you will receive the absolute worst service imaginable. Complete disregard for the customers and absolutely soaked in the “too good to be here” attitude. It is astounding that these kids (and I mean kids, it is almost always the teenagers) are able to keep their job. Essentially, unless you want to risk spending over half an hour in a drive through tour of the poor service hall of fame just to receive a consolation prize of a mediocre burger and cold fries, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.
Edit: After writing this review and finally unwrapping the breakfast burger I ordered an hour ago when I was naive and innocent, I found that it has no patty. The breakfast burger. Hold the burger. How do you miss the patty? It’s obvious there was enough time to realize it was missing it’s NAMESAKE INGREDIENT, as the burger as well as everything else in my order is cold. If creating a terrible customer experience was an Olympic sport, this location would be...
Read moreWorst experience I've ever had at a whataburger location ! This location is brand new and close to my house , decided to go get dinner with my kids . First the order taker was speaking to everyone in the store on the headset and never muted her mic so the entire time I'm hearing them conversate over the drive thru speaker . Once asked if I could order , I asked the drive thru young lady if she could tell me what exactly came on one of the new burgers and she said she didn't know . Than I placed my order and drive up to the window , they had about 6 employees standing around chatting. The young man that was making the sandwiches than grabbed two pieces of bacon with his BARE HANDS ! No gloves nothing . Cross contamination for sure . He also was playing music on a ear piece and was touch his ear piece bare hands as well . As I sat and waited for a long time about 4 minutes in the drive thru waiting Before the window ever opened to greet me or accept my pay method I asked for the manager and corporates number . The manager came to the window after chatting with the crowd of employees and asked how could she help me . I stated that I was so disgusted by not only the service but the fact the young man was making sandwiches bare hands and that if a health inspector came they would be fined . I couldn't even eat my order so I trashed it because I was so disgusted and ended up not even asking for a $18 refund on food we didn't even eat . I will never go to that location ever again . First impression of new location not even 1 star ! Calling corporate...
