McDonald's — Restaurant in McLean

in my opinion this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star in general. the only reason i come to this location is because of the convenience because its the closest and dare i say only drive through in mclean. the closest besides that is either tyson’s corner or vienna, and no one wants to drive down there on their break and deal with traffic in the city. i’ve come here multiple times this past month and every single time I never get asked for my code if i have rewards, when i pull up to the speaker i get a really rushed “hello what can i get you” and most of the time i can’t make out what they are saying. once i finish ordering my food the employees don’t give me the total or read out my order. and i mean never. i want to know how much i owe, so i know how much to give if im paying with cash and to double check im getting what i asked for… and when i ask for the total either at the speaker i don’t get a response because the employee already turned off the headset to wait for the next car. when i get to the window they don’t tell me the total nor do they read back my order and when i ask them to just to be sure i get a very rude look and response from them. safe to say im done coming to this mcdonald’s. i dont know how corporate lets the GM still work and...

I came in to get some lunch and try that Stroopwaffle (or However it’s spelled. I’m sorry if it’s wrong) Mcflurry. I ordered my food from one of the Touch screen things and used one of those Table finder things. When my food was ready they called my number but didn’t even look in the Half of the restaurant i was in, let alone my Direction and gave up without even looking Left once leading me to have to go to the counter (defeating the purpose of the Table Service Thing). Then I noticed that they had forgotten my mcflurry and upon me informing them of this, as if to add the Cherry on top of the terrible experience they made the Mcflurry Wrong, Neglecting to hook it up to the special mixing machine (the entire reason they have those special spoons). That’s not a Mcflurry, that’s a cup of Soft serve with Crumbled Stroopwaffle on top. Also my burger didn’t have nearly enough sauce, the tables weren’t the Cleanest, the touch screen thing had what i can only hope was food stuck to it and the parking was Terrible. While this is a newly renovated store, the problem is that management hasn't changed. The photos the drink counter are pre 7am (leaking tea container, used napkins everywhere) and yes, the employees are standing in water. This store just continues to get worse and worse. In addition to being filthy, they regularly give you the wrong order and it is always something less than you paid for. Management clearly is sitting in the back room (because they certainly aren't out front) laughing there head off because this place is a gold mine as they are the only drive through in McLean. This place is an embarrassment to McDonald's

Update 5-29-22. Is it possible to get worse? Hand sanitizers empty for months (if you're not going to fill them, then remove them) employees wearing masks under their nose (either wear it right or not at all) bottles of surface cleanser sitting on tables and soda station along with dirty rags and so forth. Management laughs when you point it out to them. Corporate should be ashamed...
