The singular employee that was working the line was beyond rude to me while I ordered. Not only was I not greeted upon entrance, but was met with sarcasm, and annoyance for my entire short visit of less than 5 minutes. I go To Moe’s regularly and have for at least 20 years now. Anytime I get Nachos Togo the employees ALWAYS offer chips on the side so they don’t get soggy. I walked In and said “good afternoon! How’s your day going” to which she stated at me and barked “what do you want” I replied “Can I have Togo nachos but with the chips on the side?” She roller her eyes at me and said “no. So you want a bowl”. I said, well kind of, but I want The same amount of queso that’s on the nachos, (as the nachos have always gotten 3 scoops of queso in the past— maybe this has changed in the last few months while I was Pregnant or maybe the location has a different menu). She said “no. Only 2 scoops.” I said “Oh okay, no worries! Can I pay For extra queso then?” She barks “no.” This makes no sense, of course I can Buy more queso. She continued to be beyond rude and not speak more than barking out singular words the entire process. There was no one else in line and it was not busy. She didn’t even hand my food to me and I had To reach all the way across the counter on her end by the register to grab my food after she walked away from me without a word after I paid. She didn’t even wait for me to finish paying. Additionally, before I paid, she gave me the total and I had To ask if I could Use my rewards account. She sighed in answer. I asked If I could give her my number, as II’ve been to hundreds of Moe’s and that’s how they have always preferred to find my account. She get an attitude yet again and says “can’t you just use the app”. I tell her I can if she requires it, but I have To redownload the app. She rolls her eyes and stares blankly at me for over a minute while it downloads. She then, obviously tired of waiting, barks “just give me the number” after hitting two buttons on her screen. She never even hands me my food after the transaction and just walks away without a word. I have To reach across the employee to over where the register is to grab my food— unsure if I’m even supposed to be doing this, but I see No alternative.
The food tasted horrible as well, not sure if that was a bias influenced by my horrible experience though. Chips were definitely stale though. I am A LOYAL Moe’s customer and have ALWAYS loved going to Moe’s and the employee culture. I have worked in food industry for over 10 years and understand people have bad days. This was not that. Read more3-26-25 sometime has went by and again I frequent this place because it's close to my place and its easy to grab and go! As I walk-in nobody greets me (cool, no different from any other day) when I get to the line the young Hispanic kid is just smiling so I state to him " you aren't going to greet me when I come in" he says "I didn't see you come in" I laugh it off and just place my order with him cause I see he has been told about the previous situation and is acting out along with the other staff (cool) I state I want 4 tacos he says "burritos" I say no "tacos, 4 tacos" he literally takes 4 bowls and place my little tacos into the bowls trying to be funny and I haft to tell him just place them in all one container. As I'm moving down the line I see Jonathan and I inform him I don't want him touching my food nor his nasty energy over my food and he says " you can go to the next location" I said "excuse me, I'm a paying customer and if I don't want you fixing my food what is the issue" he says " I hear you but this is where I am stationed at today and I am not moving, if you don't want me to fix your food you can go to the Burlington location. I immediately became pissed and couldn't believe this was how I was being spoken too as a customer! who gives this man the right to think he can just do what he wants to do and talk to people ( ME of all people) that way! We legit go back and fourth cause at this point (in front of customers) he wants to make his stance in regards to why he cant just move away from the line being we have already had a disagreement. Mind you it was a young black girl their and the other young Hispanic guy on the line that could have stepped in with this situation but NO and he informs them that they are going to stay where they are! I stopped arguing with him and just walked out the store! This man needs to be removed/fired from this location! his energy is off and he isn't professional at all and I will see to it! I am a essential worker and this is how I get treated, count your days sir! Also, when dealing in customer service you HAFT to know how to treat people especially when it comes to people paying their hard earned money and the workers in this establishment does no reciprocate that. I am going to give probs to the white guy that works here he is very friendly and always professional when I come in, he is who needs the manager spot! I reached out to corporate again about this situation and I'm waiting for them to call me back. Read moreWe are regular customers at the Moe's in Mebane North Carolina. We decided to have Moe's on 10/24/ 22. It was a very unpleasant experience. As I was helping my son in line the young lady that was putting the food in our bowls was rude to me and told me to move down the line. I informed her that I was helping my son with his order that I was paying for. She was not kind or Pleasant so when I called to talk to the manager on duty a young man named Kenny answer the phone and said he was the manager. He said he was unable to tell me the girl's name and unable to help me but could take my name and phone number which I gave him for his boss to call me back the next day. I've never seen a business run so poorly to where they have to push their good paying customers down the line. I know that they will not care about losing my business, but I will not go back and eat there again. I hope that the people that own the Moe's in Mebane North Carolina off of 119 will see my review and talk to their employees on how to treat a customer that comes into their store. When employees are kind it makes the customers want to come back to the establishment. With my experience with this one individual employee and the manager has made me decide not to come back and spend my money at their establishment.
