If I could only use One word tho describe Jelly Donuts of Mebane, The best word to describe Jelly Donuts of Mebane would be, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! This place is amazing! My co-workers beg me to go to jelly donuts before work and get boxes of goodies for everyone to fight over. The prices are great. The selection is great, the flavor is awesome! The staff are always friendly. They'll even throw in a lil somthin extra when you're not looking. And the jelly, ohhh the jelly! It taste s Sooo good! There is a jelly bar behind the counter. You tell Them what you want in your doughnut(s) and they stuff em for ya right then and there and they stuff em full! There's no guessing games as to what kind of doughnut you're about to bite into. This place offers Excellent value, excellent service, excellent taste, excellent prices. I do wish that they offered Bagels too. There is always one in the bunch who shouldn't have sweets, and it would be nice to be able to take them a bagel so they aren't left out. But who am I kidding. Jelly Donuts doughnuts are so irresistible, that no one sits and looks at them or smells them without eating them too. Update Only to add to their awesomeness, When I went again this morning, I had my wiggly wobbly 8 month old in tow on one arm. I was wondering how I was going to balance those boxes of delicious doughnuts on just the other arm without them crashing to the pavement as I walked to the car. I didnt even have to ask or mention it. The wonderful staff saw I already had my arms full so they carried my boxes to the car for me! I wish I could give...

Something of an expert on donuts and fried pastries in my 60+ years in the South, North, Midwest, and overseas on different continents. Still haven’t quite recovered from the culture shock of that first Dunkin Donuts leaden lump in Boston after growing up on Krispy Kreme’s and home-fried wonders by great cooks. I eventually came to appreciate a bit of heft in a donut, and was happy enough with Midwestern small shop donuts. But I have never, ever eaten as perfect a donut as the ones at NC Jelly Donuts. They are twice the size and a fraction of the price of a Krispy Kreme, while having that brand’s lightness with just a touch more body and just the right level of sweet. Krispy Kreme’s need emergency resuscitation in a microwave after 6 hours, but these somehow stay edible far longer.

What more can I say? They are donut magic, and a small business, and I love the mix of people who line up there. Greedy politicians and propagandists keep trying to divide us and make us hate each other, but appreciating a great donut in small talk can break down just about every barrier. Give it a try, and order twice as many donuts as you think you want, and if any are left over, share the goodness with people who need some donut perfection in...

I use to think highly of this place and thought they were sweet people with great donuts! But no, they are rude! I just asked a question about the price because I saw one thing, but was charged something different. They told me the new prices and I was like okay but you might want to change what’s online because some customers might get upset. Before I could say anything else, the manager just hung up the phone on me! Thinking to myself I have always thought she was a sweet person, but I see another side of her and she’s rude!
