Muffin's Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Mebane

I stopped by after picking my children up from school. I order a scoop of buckeye in a cup for one of my children. After she scooped it, my child said they would like caramel and m&m's sprinkled on top. Without hesitation, she turned to me and said, "next time you need to tell me if there will be toppings added". This was said in the snarkiest tone I have heard in a while. She then proceeded to dump the scoop of ice cream into a larger cup and had an attituded for the rest of my order. Maybe she should ask if there will be toppings on a scoop of ice cream before choosing which container it goes in. After all, she's the one serving the ice cream. $28 worth of ice cream and attituded. I'll go somewhere...

In Mebane this is the best ice cream/ sorbet place in town. We came here a long time ago and have been back handful of times but today, review was warranted. There is parking on the street and aside from events, you'll find a spot. You are greeted upon entering. There are a lot of options! The price is ok but the product is delicious. My daughter likes their cookies and cream flavor in either cone or cup. I had their sorbet because it is their dairy free option. It is really, really flavorful. Pomegranate Raspberry, try it! Start by saying the chocolate milk shake was great! Just wanted I needed on a wam Saturday. However, only one person working, believe the owner, and shop required more than one person on this day. She was making milkshakes, waffle cones from scratch, and scooping as fast as possible. The line kept growing, there was a family of in front of me, two of the three wanted waffle cones.
