My Brazilian husband and I agree that they make the best coxinhas in the US. We have tried them over multiple occasions and it's always consistently excellent. The owner Lily works the cash register and told us her husband makes the coxinhas fresh every day. We can tell it's made with real catupiry and the flavor of the dough and filling is absolute perfection. Next, their pão de queijo is the best we've ever had as well. Usually when these breads have cooled down they become chewy; however, the ones at this bakery remain so fresh with the best mouth feel. Unfortunately the reports I hear about this place are not the best, they do not pay the employees, they owe weeks and even months, then threatens the workers pushing them to solve in court , when paid in court r results in numerous bad checks , makes the person go there several times saying that you will pay, when you get there hide and send any employee to pass the message that they are not in, I witnessed it and I was shocked by this situation, it is very sad to know that there are people acting like this here in the United States, but they probably act this way where they come from. I'm not too familiar with Brazilian bakeries but have been branching out. Sadly, they didn't have bagels or artisan loafs, which is what I was in the market for, but the items I tried were good.

The sweet bread, sandwich rolls, and what I think was cassava with beef assembled like some sort of Brazilian Sheppard's pie were all excellent. One of the other bakery treats I had wasn't my thing, but it was an overall positive and pleasant experience trying new things here.
