Joe Pizza — Restaurant in Medford

I ordered a steak and cheese sub with fries and picked up on my way home from work. When I got home and opened up the sub, I couldn't even see the steak and cheese without opening the roll. There was barely anything inside. I called to speak to the manager and the girl told me I'll take your number but they probably won't call you back. Which was shocking to say the least. She did eventually call me later and got "Joe" on the phone. When I told him what happened, he went on about the cost of meat is so high and how theirs is the best, and I was probably given the correct amount. He was disrespectful and clearly knows nothing about good customer service. I told him it was a cop-out with that excuse and that the sub I received was not like I had in the past. He kept raising his voice and eventually hung up on me! Worst Manager/Owner Ever! Does this place have new owners or something??? Because this place used to be amazing and now it is awful. Last time we got pizza from there, it tasted terrible yet in the past it was always the best. I can't imagine this place will stay open much longer with their awful attitudes, high prices, and...

I moved to Arlington a good 3years AGO I found that Arlington didn’t thrive in good cuisine as much as near by cities I was lucky so I thought to have stumbled on Joe Pizza In Medford . I ordered the same item over the course , my order a bit spotty at times but decent. Today December 1,2018 I’m disappointed by the lack of consideration and concern for customer overall experience. I was not only put on hold but I was made feel bad for not being satisfied. They shut me out when I voiced my dissatisfaction resulting in me going to there location for a explanation simply an apology as I never got one from Speaking to a crew Memeber or “ manager “. Upon arrival I explained myself and they looked at me like I was insane the manager had told me he had made the sandwich and that it had everything I had requested on it simply because he had made it, he then opened the sandwich revealing no lettuce .I’m sorry to say this is my very first review and it’s not about the lettuce it’s the tone and manor in which the situation...

Small sample size as I've only been here twice (at this point) but I am so grateful to find a NY-style pizza joint around here that is actually GOOD. I moved here from NY 5 years ago and this is the only place I've found in Arlington/Medford/Somerville that hits the spot.

Really nice crust, good cook on it, nice sweet tomato sauce and good quality cheese. It's easy to mess up a plain cheese pie, but they nail it. Buffalo chicken pie is also excellent.

The pizza here isn't cheap, but I'd gladly pay the extra few bucks over and over again.

3 stars for atmosphere only because it's a takeout only spot, but no real issue there. I believe they also offer slices here, which is a rarity...
