If you have hungry little buckaroo's be sure to stop at Badlands Pizza! We ordered 3 kids pizzas during our road trip and a large Pizza for the adults thinking the kids pizzas would be maybe 6 inches. When they arrived they were 10-12 inches! We could easily have ordered less but were pleasantly surprised the size for the cost. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread and they were a cheese filled garlic breadsticks that everyone enjoyed! The only negative about our experience was that it was incredibly loud as it is one big room so conversation was hard and then when trying to leave it took an especially long time to just get the bill and a box even though it wasn't very busy. Overall we would definitely come back and maybe take advantage of their order ahead or grab and go area!

We stopped for lunch here while visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The place has a big sitting area. It was crowded and noisy but that’s expected considering it was lunch time. We ordered chicken wings, waffle fries and 1 large pizza. The pizza taste was average. We ordered half n half pizza with 1 side cheese and other with 2 toppings. I don’t know why they were skimpy with the toppings. Out of the 4 slices, 2 had very little toppings as if it was free. I must have paid atleast $1 to $2 each.

Grabbed a pizza before the Musical. Kiubber took care of us and did a great job!! I couldn’t decide what beer to order and he recommended the Badlands Gold and I really enjoyed it! Hubby even thought it was pretty tasty and he’s not a beer guy. He did enjoy his Merlot though. Pizza was good, just wish it came out piping hot! Great spot for big groups or families.

Like other people have said, the staff are very short/brusque and the wait is long. I tried to call for takeout and the phone rang for more than two minutes before I gave up to walk over. The woman at the register was super brusque. I didn't get any kind of wait time and they didn't take my number or anything so instead I just stood there to wait. I waited close to 40 minutes for my pizza; in the meantime, everyone who came in after me for sitdown service had received their food. I ordered the Barn Yard, which seems to be a buffalo chicken pizza. I was excited to get home and eat it, opened the box, and what to my wondering eyes should appear? Tomato sauce. I absolutely cannot stand tomato sauce. This is why I get barbecue chicken pizza, because it is sauced with barbecue sauce rather than marinara. This pizza had a tiny drizzle of bbq sauce (too small to taste) on top then a slathering of pizza sauce. I tried to eat it because my stove is broken so I don't have any food otherwise, but it's just too disgusting I can't do it. I suppose I could have asked whether it was marinara or bbq, but I have never in my entire life had a bbq chicken pizza with marinara sauce so it didn't seem necessary. Really disappointing (especially considering it cost $20) and I definitely won't be coming back (there's nothing I could eat...

Like many others have said, this place could use a bit more structure. Had to wait entirely too long for a table, not because it was busy, but because the poor person hosting had to take to-go orders (process payment and everything) and bus tables. There were only two parties a head of us, but one made a long to go order, and then the host had to excuse themselves to bus tables before they could seat the other party and us. Once inside the dining room it was clear they could use more guidance on what to do. Two people were waiting tables (big restaurant for only two servers) two were bussing/hosting and one was standing at the bar staring off into space the entire time we were there (I get that they need a bartender, but why couldn’t they help the other employees? No one in the entire restaurant was drinking (mostly families) and the bartender wasn’t even helping with fountain drinks). Food was just OK, price was just OK. Really needs to work on the art of running...

Very poor customer service. I arrived as a party of one and was taken to be seated at a table. I asked could I be seated at a booth instead. The waitress said no that those are for parties of three or more people. The waitress then said she could ask her supervisor if she could seat me at a booth. The waitress then went and asked her supervisor would it be okay to seat me at a booth and upon the waitresses return she said her supervisor said no I could not be seated at a booth. I counted three open booths at that moment and there were no other parties waiting to be seated, so it didn’t seem like an unreasonable request. One would think a restaurant would attempt to provide the utmost customer service, especially when it is something as simple as a booth versus a table. I have never had a restaurant experience where I was told I couldn’t sit at a particular table, that is unless a reservation...
