I recently had an extremely distressing experience at Rizzo's, What started as a simple request for a refund escalated into a shocking incident that left me feeling humiliated and utterly disheartened.

Upon realizing that my order was incorrect and unsatisfactory, I approached the staff to kindly request a refund. To my disbelief, instead of addressing my concerns with professionalism and empathy, the restaurant staff responded in an aggressive and confrontational manner. They refused to acknowledge their mistake and blatantly disregarded my rights as a customer.

To my utter shock, the situation took an alarming turn when the restaurant personnel, rather than attempting to resolve the issue, threatened to call the police on me for simply wanting my money back. This overreaction was completely uncalled for and left me feeling both traumatized and bewildered. I cannot comprehend why a mere refund request would lead to such an extreme response.

Not only was the behavior of the staff completely unjustified, but it also showcased a complete lack of understanding of customer service and basic human decency. The fact that they were willing to involve law enforcement in a situation that could have been easily resolved demonstrates their unwillingness to take responsibility for their mistakes and prioritize customer satisfaction.

As a result of this ordeal, I would strongly advise against patronizing [Restaurant Name]. Their treatment of customers is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable. There are countless other dining establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction and would handle similar situations with grace and respect.

In summary, my experience at rizzo's was one of the most disheartening encounters I have had in a restaurant. Their unwarranted decision to involve the police over a simple refund request is an outrageous and disproportionate response. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for potential customers and prompts the restaurant to reevaluate their customer...

I will NEVER return. I would give this place a negative star if it were an option. I know this place has been around for quite some time and when I had a lovely dining experience with a seafood pasta at Giovanni's on Telegraph, a customer there suggested also this place. I had a TO GO order for their seafood pasta. It was so salty you could NOT eat it. I phoned, spoke with the manager who said maybe because of having a new cook and explained I would get a credit the next time I came in. A few days later, I went and sat at the bar to have a drink and place my order. It was a Thursday eve. and they were busy but not to the extreme. There were 3 bartenders behind the bar, it took 10 mins to even be acknowledged and they served another that came in after me. And no excuse to the bartender - there were empty chairs on both sides of me - so she saw me. I mentioned to a nice lady who was going to her table, "I guess it's all who you know" and the bartender sarcastically said ' whe was getting some change" Bah hum bug - no you had clearly been ignoring me!!! When I went to place an order, I was told by the bartender that that I HAD to order the same thing from my credit. The manager did NOT tell me that when I first spoke with her. The girl who FINALLY took my order said it was too salty probably because of the clams.....um no!!!!! It's not my first seafood pasta! UNFORTUNATELY after 1 hr and 10 min. I received my food. Took it home and guess what - it looked like soup and had no clams in the dish! It tasted bland and soggy. BTW the eggplant that I ordered as an appetizer while I waited, had ok tasting sauce, but soggy eggplant with no flavor whatsoever. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE all the way round from the bartenders and the manager who did not explain the credit and therefore I suffered through yet another attempt at my meal. For those of you that have been loyal customer and to some degree satisfied, probably just haven't tasted better or just you got lucky with the better chef. VERY VERY...

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Rizzo's , and to put it bluntly, it was an absolute nightmare. This establishment is a perfect example of everything that can go wrong in a restaurant experience. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that I had made a terrible mistake.

First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed completely disinterested and inattentive. It took an eternity just to get a menu, and even longer for someone to take our orders. They were nowhere to be found when we needed refills or had questions about the menu. It felt like we were invisible to them, and it's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority at this restaurant.

Moving on to the food, it was a disaster. The dishes were bland, poorly presented, and lacked any sort of creativity or finesse. It felt like they put no effort into the preparation or quality of the ingredients. The flavors were dull and unmemorable, leaving me thoroughly disappointed. It's a shame when a restaurant fails to live up to even the most basic culinary expectations.

Moreover, the hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant were questionable at best. The tables were sticky, and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The entire place had a stale, unpleasant odor that lingered in the air. It's disconcerting to think about the lack of attention to cleanliness in an establishment that handles food.

To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for the poor quality of the experience. It felt like a complete rip-off. I wouldn't mind paying a premium for excellent food and service, but at [Restaurant Name], I was left feeling cheated and dissatisfied.

Overall, I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. From the lackluster service to the uninspiring food and questionable hygiene, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and look elsewhere for a dining experience that values its customers and takes pride in its...

We were referred to this restaurant by a Front Desk agent at an area hotel. My husband is Italian and loves going to Italian style restaurant. Apparently they don’t get too many black people and/or African American patrons. The staff seemed nervous coming to our table along with taking our order. I was the ONLY person of color in the restaurant and the staff & clientele was looking like we landed on the moon in shorts. It was really weird vibes for me. I don’t get those vibes often, it’s 2023 and my husband and I have been married over 30 years. The food was good, but me personally I would not go back. I like to relax when I eat and the atmosphere was to tense and not inviting for me.

A pleasant dining experience and very friendly service. I went to Rizzo's Italian Restaurant with a group of friends. We arrived about 15 minutes before the listed opening time. We were pleasantly surprised when the staff opened about 10 minutes early and immediately accommodated our group by rearranging tables and chairs to seat us all together as a group. The server was very friendly and the food arrived quickly. I ordered the Veal Parmigiano lunch special which included the veal, a pasta and a small salad. All of the food was well prepared and tasty. The only issue I had was some gristle in a few bites of the veal. Our group enjoyed the meal and plan to return.

None of the food tasted fresh. The alfredo sauce was really watery. The veal was tough and tasted exactly like the stuff you can find in the Walmart freezer aisle. The bread they bring out is generic sliced french bread, the same stuff you can buy at the Walmart bakery for $1.00 a loaf. It's about a $4.00 upcharge if you would like vinegar and oil with that. The prices are steep and the service was lacking. We had to wait almost 5 minutes after being seated before the waiter took our drink order. I brought my girl here and she told me she would've been happier going to McDonald's for dinner.
