Breakfast: Good eggs Benedict, and surprisingly good biscuit w/ gravy. Breakfast potatoes are stellar & you can swap for fresh fruit (mostly berries) if you'd like. Jennifer was our server and such a pleasure. Lunch: The Sands burger is on a standard bun, but the patty is loosely packed and not over-pressed so even a well done burger is tender and juicy inside. It has carmelized onions and arugula on it for flavor and texture. The Bleu cheese dressing is great, but the side salad is pretty small for $4 - about the size of your fist, with lettuce, red onion, tomato. Wish they could set you up with a side included since the sandwiches are $15-$19 and sides are $4-6. There's a decent beer selection, with a couple IPAs on draught & lots of bottles to choose from. We also got the chicken caprese sandwich which was on a baguette with mozzarella, basil spread (not the traditional pesto I was expecting, but good), arugula, and grilled chicken. Next time I go back I'll get the burger again, as the chicken was good but something about it felt oily & I needed some Tums after. 😅 Downstairs has a beautiful view and larger tables along the railing, upstairs has more side-by-side bar-like seating and a few tables for two along the railing. There are larger tables upstairs that are further from the railing where the view is, though. Our server wasn't very proactive with information about the menu or drinks, and they may have taken a break at a point because we only saw them twice. Other servers occasionally checked in on us though, so service as a whole was good. Love the view, love the setup, prices are okay, burger is excellent.

Oceanfront Oasis with Delicious Seafood & Adult-Friendly Top Deck! Sand on the Beach is a fantastic spot right on Melbourne Beach! We enjoyed a delicious lunch with stunning views, convenient beach access, and a relaxing adult-friendly atmosphere. Beachside Bliss with a View: The highlight of the restaurant is definitely the location. With on-site parking and easy beach access, it's perfect for a beach day. We especially loved soaking up the ocean views from their spacious top deck. Bonus: This area is also designated as adults-only, offering a quieter and more relaxed dining experience. Fresh Seafood Delights: We opted for the mahi wrap and mahi tacos, and both were excellent! The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Just a heads up that entrees typically don't come with sides, so we shared a side of fries. They were crispy and delicious, but be sure to factor that in when considering prices. Relaxed Beach Vibes (Upstairs): The atmosphere upstairs at Sand on the Beach is exactly what you'd want from an adult-friendly beachside restaurant - casual, laid-back, and perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or a significant other. Tips: Entrees might not include sides, so consider ordering one if you have a bigger appetite. Also, this is the perfect place to grab a bite before or after spending some time on the beach! If you have children, be aware that the top deck is adults-only, but the downstairs area may be more suitable for families.

So at first glance this place looked like it was going to be a nice little place today to have a drink and a bite to eat. We went there to meet 20 of our friends for a friend’s birthday and we are not to pleased. First off our waitress was not good at all. I had asked for a mimosa and , then asked again since after 10 minutes I did not have it. Her response was the bartender makes it , like I don’t know that, so I asked again another 10 minutes later and still nothing . So I walked up to the bar to get it. Well no bartender and no drink sitting there. So as I walked back to my table I saw her and said hey there was no bartender up there where is my mimosa? Her reply was (I DONT KNOW) so at this point I was beyond unhappy. Then to top it off my friend who’s birthday it was order food a little later and when she came to drop it off she was like hey where did that guy go? My wife said what guy? The old guy with the hat! Was very offended by this because that is not how you should be treated. Other then this piss poor service, the food was not to bad. I had a breakfast dish and it was good. But will definitely not go back and will definitely tell everyone I know not to go to this place. Very sad

What a lovely place to each right on the beach There is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant. At some point, they station a person to make sure that visitors are coming to eat at the location and not just use the parking lot for beach visits. There is a host/hostess station as you enter. This is primarily for the first-floor outdoor covered area. The other option is to go straight upstairs to the bar area and view and choose a spot. I went there for breakfast and, after looking at both areas, chose the downstairs area. It was a windy morning so they had the wind shades down which were translucent on top and still offered the excellent beach view while providing a comfortable wind break. It was 9 am on a Sunday and we almost had the place to ourselves. I ordered the meat omelet. It was very large, good, and came with home fries. The food came out in about 10 minutes. It was hot and good. The home fries had an excellent taste to their outer skins. The price was a little higher than I expected at about $19/person but for the view, quality of food, and atmosphere it was worth it. If you want a good meal right on the beach, I would recommend it to you.

Came here for a dining experience on the ocean. The view is fantastic but that is where it stops. 1. Children are not allowed upstairs. Why? There is a railing. 2. They had no soda when we went there so we were not able to have the drinks we wanted. Also, they had no milk and of course no soda but they have a kids menu???? 3. Our food was mediocre. The kids meal was $8. My little one said it was okay. I ordered the Sand's Burger. I asked without blue cheese. It was supposed to have caramelized onions, bacon and arugula (missing this). I got sweet potato fries and they were hardly warm and not really crispy. My meal? $19!!! My husband got two small ahi tuna tacos. No sides. $14. 4. Our drinks were alright but served in a small plastic cup smaller than a solo cup. A daiquiri, peach tea, two apple juices about $33. Waitress was nice. I will give them that. She checked on us throughout the time we were there and was nice. However, we will not be going back. $80 for what we got is RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Wow! This has just become a destination that my wife and I are already planning a trip to Melbourne around! The view upstairs out at the ocean was spectacular! The food was second to none! Mason, our server, was the bomb.com! We got the Lobster Bisque soup 🦞 🍲... 🤯 I challenge you not to lick the bowl! It needs a piece of toast to help get the last of it out of the bowl! My wife had a cheeseburger that she said was excellent, and Mason got it cooked just perfect! I got the shrimp and grits, and it was excellent! I added a little hot sauce, and it went amazingly with the Mai-Tai! I was originally curious about the Lobster Rueben but was afraid the strong breeze coming off of the Atlantic was too strong... so I got one to go, my mistake! Get the Lobster Rueben! It was PHENOMENAL!!! I am definitely going back to get one hot and fresh off the grill! Once again, this will be a repeat destination for us! The view was spectacular, the food was impeccable, and Mason was amazing!
