The reception was kind and sincere. Seating didn’t take long. The buzzer went off, and we took our seats. That is when we were greeted by Mekenna, who has to be an angel in her physical form. She was knowledgeable, smart, and funny. She made us feel important. She sets the standard for customer service. We were looking for a cozy breakfast spot and a tasty beachside meal. We were 1st time visitors. I tried the waffles, with scrambled eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. The Sunnyside Scrambler with Home Fries, or Classic Eggs Benedict, was as decadent as the picture. The food was prepared like Gordon Ramsey was in the kitchen. The Benedict's hollandaise sauce was particularly delicious. The eggs are perfectly cooked. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was a standout. I got some vitamin C with an excellent A service. The portions are generous. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service was fast and efficient, even though they were busy. We never felt rushed. Clone Makenna and you will have a staff that is friendly and attentive, with coffee cups frequently refilled. Hey, little things lead to big joy. She was on top of it all. Makenna remembered our preferences and followed up with us often.

A great place to eat in the Melbourne Beach area According to their website, they are, “Dedicated to serving great food, breakfast that will get your day to the best possible start.” This was my first time trying this restaurant after having driven by this location for over 20 years. It is in a strip center built on the north side of Beach Avenue and mere steps from the beach. There is plenty of parking. They have inside or outside seating. The outside seating is small 2-person tables set on each side of the walkway with metal chairs. The inside seating is mostly a series of booths and some seating at a counter to the right as you enter. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We saw and were helped by at least 5 different waitresses. The menu is a good selection of breakfast favorites from basic eggs, to omelets to French toast and pancakes. I tried the bacon scrambler with home fries and an English muffin. The food came out quickly. It was a good portion and was very tasty. I like the English muffin the most. September 2025 update... Appears new management has taken over. Food is still GREAT. Service... Has gone down hill with only a face or two recognized from previous visits. Where the entire waitress/waiter crew chipped in on all the tables which used to result in quick service... Not so much cooperative spirit seen in our last visit. We are very sorry to have found the service lacking but place this change directly upon the management thinking their changes would be more efficient. Maybe efficient for running the place, but not seen efficient at the tables being served. Just a common run of the mill place now this writer feels.
