The Beach Stop — Local services in Melbourne Beach

I have been coming here for over 40 years as a local. I am in the irrigation business and usually blue collar folks are always given dirty looks because we are always dirty, I get it but the folks that work here are locals and always been cool. I always get gas here for the l trucks and the fish is the BEST. I am conscious of not tracking in dirt on my work boots even @ A BEACH STORE. I guess I missed a few grains today and it was made clear to me I messed up. Some spotlessly clean gentlemen walking around me kicking literally a few grains of dry sand making weird scoffing noises intended for me to hear. So I notice and go sorry man, I thought I got it all and I genuinely felt bad and as I always do was about to offer to sweep the 13 grains up when he with his back to me nastly says we just mopped, make sure you stomp your feet before you come in here again? What is going on in the world especially with our cool little beach community. I made a mistake,I apologize and I can assure you I won't be getting work dirt on your floors ever again and nor will any other hard working folks I know. We work hard enough out in the sun. Wow! I can’t even tell you how impressed I am with the food at this gas station! First of all, customer service was fantastic! Everyone is so friendly and willing to make you food even if they’re getting ready to close. I ordered the OG (best burger ever) and a chicken sandwich… yeah, It’s not on the menu, they were sweet enough to accommodate my craving. In fact, I think they should name this chicken sandwich after me, “The Jenny” Fried chicken tossed in Nashville hot sauce with pickles all over it 🤤. Had previously given the garage highest marks possible because of the wonderful service. A recent incident however was most frustrating. At last servicing I was notified that new filters were needed & were in stock; my schedule that day did not allow for this extra work to be done. Made a specific appt. for servicing the next week to complete the job. When I arrived, the garage was closed, and I was told by Alex that there was no appt. for my car shown on their schedule.
