Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Melbourne

Let me start off by saying the cashier was new and really nice. However I’ve been to many Jersey Mike’s before and have never had a problem including the one on Palm Bay Rd. I’m a vegetarian and have been a vegetarian for 22 years. Every time I go my cheese gets sliced on the secondary slicer or they clean the main one with no problem. Often times I don’t even have to ask they just do it. Well today I went and yes it was lunch time however they were using the same slicer for everything and when I asked if that was my cheese the employees response was everything is sliced on this slicer. I asked for my cheese to be sliced on the other and was told that’s not what they do. So my husband gets a sub and I don’t. When we get to the cashier I ask why and he explains he is new and not sure. He takes my name and number down. While he is speaking with me the girl next time him asks what I’m talking about and then proceeds to tell me cross contamination is why they can’t slice my cheese on a different slicer. You’re mixing cold deli meat and a dairy product cheese on a slicer….. what you’re doing is cross contamination which most people are fine with but not all. Please be knowledgeable before speaking. I asked for a manager after this and apparently they were short staffed and no manager...

We use this Jersey Mike's quite often because they are always top tier from freshness to service but today I especially wanted to commend them for how amazing they are! I am responsible for ordering our Branch lunches at work and ordered off the app late last night right around midnight. I had selected delivery for the next day and completed my order without realizing that it was set to deliver on Thursday instead of Wednesday when I was going to need it. I did not realize until 11:45am Wednesday and I had 12 people showing up for a lunch meeting at noon. I called and they were so kind and accommodating and had everything ready for me within 20 minutes of my reaching out to them about an error that was completely my fault. Such amazing customer service, the entire team is fantastic! From the associate who answered the phone when I called to the manager who said they could get it done for me today, and also the entire crew working to get everything together for us at such short notice during their lunch rush! Okay so ill start the review by sayin I MESSED UP - BUT I TRIED TO FIX IT.

I ordered for pickup at 12 (on the app).

Had to handle an emergency during my break and couldnt pick the sandwich up. I called around 12:40.

Like, im so sorry , can i still get it just when i get off work (4:30) the gentleman on the phone was so courteous and said no problem , they would re-make it once i came in. AWESOME (- regret not getting his name .)

I come in at 4:30 to get said " fresh " sandwich , the rockstar and the lil girl said they had no idea what i was talking about- looked up my name and said . Oh i remade that at 4 (rolls eyes) 🙄 (Why , first of all after 2pm- its dead in there , like what was the rush )

YALL THAT WAS THE SOGGIEST SANDWICH EVER . TOOK ONE BITE AND TRASHED IT. i get it , yall kids lack work ethic and common sense so i wont be back . (I assumed it was the original sandwich because aint no way that was fresh) But the guy who took my call was absolutely a pleasure . Oh well . Pub subs are WAYYY...
