All Star Hot Wings, LLC — Restaurant in Memphis

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!

on 05/16/2016, I had an Allstar coupon that they inserted with my MLGW bill. I called in, told the young lady I had a coupon to get 10 whole wings for $8.95. She asked, "okay what flavor?" I told her, "honey hot." She said, "okay, it'll be ready in 15 minutes." I called right back & added a regular fry. I get to the restaurant on my lunch break, she asks for my coupon & I give it to her. She balls it up & throws it in the trash. She says, "okay that'll be $13.05 and we ran out of regular fry boxes so you have to purchase a large." I asked "ma'am, why are my wings $13.05 when the coupon says $8.95 & why do I have to pay for a large fry because you all ran out of regular boxes?" She replied, "I just rang your wings up for regular price & I didn't ring the fries up yet because you have to pay for a large since we ran out of boxes." I replied, "just give me my coupon back." She reached in the trash unraveled the coupon, handed it to me & said have a nice day.

My issue is this, I advised her that I had THEIR coupon when I called to place my order. She asks for the coupon when I get there, then balls it up throws it in the trash & then just rings my order up at regular price, then proceeds to tell me that I have to pay for a bigger fry because THEY ran out of regular boxes. How do you ask me for the coupon then BLATANTLY not honor your own coupon? Then on top of that try to make me pay for a large fry because you ran out of regular boxes???? Common sense would have been to put the fries in the same box as the wings, or put the regular amount in the larger container or give me larger fries at the regular price to accommodate for the inconvenience & still make the sell!!!! Instead you try to make me pay full price for an order I clearly stated I had a coupon for & GAVE it to you & try to make me pay for a larger fry because your restaurant ran out of regular boxes and LOST that sale & my business FOREVER!!!!! You clearly had no intentions of honoring the coupon when I first called in. I guess the coupons they send out are a gimmick to get you in the restaurant then try to get you to pay full price instead. Shame on you!!!! I only gave 1 star because not giving a star at all is...

First, let me start by saying that this location should not be in business due to the lack of professionalism from the cashier to the manager. I arrived on a Saturday morning at 12 only to be greeted by an lock door and then I had to wait outside for 45 minutes. When the door was unlocked no one even tried to apologize for the wait or the fact that they were late opening. Then I placed my order which was the All Star Special, I was asked if I wanted regular fries or season fries. The young man then proceeded to charge my card but did not tell me that season fries was an extra .60 cent charge. I then asked why he did not make that clear and all he did was look at me. He asked if I wanted him to call the manager which I did. After he called and spoke with the manager he asked me if wanted a refund which I stated that I did want my fries seasoned but I wanted the manager to be aware that his employee is not letting his customers know what they are being charged for. I asked to speak with the manager and the manger whose name was Patrick stated that he was too busy to talk to me smh. This why we don't support businesses as we should because of the bad customer service...

Today I went to allstar. I didn't call ahead because I don't mind on waiting for freshly cooked food. I walked in and the lady working the counter was pretty nice. She tells me about a special, which included whole wings, fries and a drink. I order that special. She informed me to get seasoning on my fries it's an additional 60 cents. I was shocked but nevertheless, I paid for my fries to be seasoned. Approximately 3-5 minutes later she calls my name and gives me my bag. In my mind I'm thinking, "that was way too fast!" I proceeded home. I opened my box and was immediately disappointed. The wings were extremely small and looked like they had been already cooked and simply dropped in grease to warm them up. They were extremely dry and practically inedible. The fries were the same. Many were hard and hollow. Some were edible but not appetizing at all. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I would never serve someone food I wouldn't eat. That was exactly what they did. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY or find a place that actually cares about the quality of the products they are serving.
