Amazin' Glaze Donuts — Restaurant in Memphis

Now known as Amazin' Glaze Donuts & Bakery. Since the ownership has changed, the quality of the donuts has increasingly diminished. I was a weekly customer with a standard order up until this summer when management started changing up the menu items, fired the original cook, and began moving Ms. Juanita back and forth between the two locations. Prior to this, Ms. Juanita, who was the store manager, made sure my order was always ready when I arrived for the last 5 years. However, since she is no longer there, I've give the new owners 2 additional chances and they've fallen short both times. Last week, no vanilla sprinkle donuts. This week, I called to verify if the desired items were available and was told yes. Had I known I was going to be sold some greasy, thinly vanilla glazed doughnuts, with some scatters (NOT even enough to say they were sprinkles), I would've saved my gas and spent my money elsewhere! I should've checked my box prior to leaving because what was visible in the front of the glass case we're certainly not what I received! My child said they were gross and now I must get up again in the morning to make up for the donut disaster from this morning because the remaining ones are going in the TRASH!!!

Switching to machine made and cutting costs by limiting/removing standard menu items, you're going to continue to lose customers, like myself, who faithfully supported this establishment each and every week, guaranteeing revenue to your business. ...

This location had been Jody's for years and the donuts were excellent. Under a new name and new management, the location is clean, the menu is electronic and the product is terrible. I dropped by on a Saturday morning at 10. The cases were almost empty. I was able to get a cake donut that was so dry it had to be 2-days old. The donut holes were okay and the fried cinnamon roll was terrible. When I asked if there was more in back, she said they would have some ready in 30 minutes. It seems they've let the cook and the front person go and are trying to do everything themselves. It's so sad. This had been a favorite go to place with my family for years. Donuts are good I guess but the service is TERRIBLE. Super rude. I think her name is Juanita cuz there is 3 tip jars out with her name all over it. Like not friendly at all, rude. i asked what flavors the donuts were filled with and she just hit a small sign insinuating for me to just read..like ok...so I read it and said I wanted a powder one and she’s like YEA WE DNT HAVE THAT. Oh ok..but remember when you hit the sign for me to read then I guess she called herself breaking down the instructions like I’m slow or something. Like ok just say you don’t have powered and keep it moving. Gross. Never coming back. OH and it looks like the equipment hasn’t been deep...
