The arrival of Bojangles in our town has been a cause for pure excitement, especially for someone like me who has cherished memories of living in the South. This beloved chain has always held a special place in my heart, and I'm thrilled to say that our local Bojangles has lived up to all my expectations and more.
Walking into Bojangles, you're immediately greeted with that familiar, welcoming atmosphere that's so quintessentially Southern. It feels like stepping back into my southern home, where comfort food is king and hospitality is a way of life. The service here is exactly what you'd hope for – friendly, quick, and always with a smile. It's clear that the staff isn't just serving food; they're serving up a hearty dose of southern charm.
Now, let's talk about the food – a primary reason for my Bojangles love affair. The fries at Bojangles are a masterpiece in their own right. Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, they're crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and utterly addictive. I could eat them all day!
But the real stars of the show are the BoBerry biscuits. These heavenly biscuits are a perfect blend of sweet and savory, with blueberries baked right in and a delectable icing that's just sweet enough. They're a treat that brings back a flood of fond memories and stands out as one of my all-time favorite fast-food items.
And of course, no visit to Bojangles is complete without their sweet tea. It's the kind of authentic, Southern-style sweet tea that's hard to find outside of the region. Each sip takes me back to my time in the South, conjuring up images of sunny afternoons and the feeling of a slower pace of life. It's not just a drink; it's a sip of nostalgia.
In conclusion, Bojangles is not just another fast-food chain; it's a slice of Southern life right here in town. From their delightful service to their irresistible food, Bojangles has brought a piece of the South to our doorstep, and I couldn't be happier. Whether you're a long-time fan or new to the Bojangles experience, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back for those fries and BoBerry biscuits – and, of course, a cup of that sweet, sweet...
Read moreHad hi hopes for this place. I came after my mom carried on about how "great" the biscuits were (it's my weakness, lol).
Went inside to place my order, and the young lady at the front counter was nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Placed an order for a "deluxe chicken sandwich combo", which was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato and mayo. While waiting for my food, I overheard the young lady at the front tell the cook that she needed a fresh sandwich made, because the one they had given her was "sitting up for over an hr." I smiled because I was very appreciative that she was thoughtful enough to give her customer fresh food, especially since they are spending their hard-earned dollars.
Got my food and made it all the way home, only to take a big bite of what I thought was fresh food, to find a sandwich with wilted broken down lettuce, no tomatoes, and a dried up piece of chicken as thin as a sheet of paper. I bit into a couple of fries, and they were just as bad. Dry, stale, and cold. Needless to say I was so disgusted, I threw the whole meal in the trash. It wasn't even fit for my dog to eat!.
I knew i should have walked right back out the door when I seen the whole staff with long hair bouncing all over the place and not one hair tie or hair net in sight. While waiting on your food, you can watch them make fresh biscuits and I did. Again, the same thing. Hair flopping all over the biscuit dough, and not one hair net in site.
People just don't care. Definitely Overrated! (1 star for the young lady at the...
Read moreI walked in the door with two other gentlemen behind me. We were not greeted or acknowledged. About five minutes later, the young lady at the front counter said ,"I will be with you all in a minute. Which was another three minutes later. I would normally have left, but I am curious to see how long this process would take. I also wanted to try their breakfast food. After placing my order, there was an additional five more minutes of wait time. However, I did notice that their main focus was on orders that were being picked up by the Door Dashers, Uber Eats, and soʻ on. Going forward, we had to wait for the Bo rounds (hashbrowns). In a nutshell, I could have cooked my own breakfast. I finally received my breakfast food. She gave me the orange juice five minutes before my food was ready, which could have been in the fridge, still getting cold. Second, our food was not in the warmer. It was sitting on the counter getting cold while waiting on the hashbrowns to get done. Thirdly, and I think you know what it is; my sandwich was cold, juice short of being room temperature. I ordered the Steak Biscuit combo. There was no flavor to the steak. It was very bland. Of course, the hasbbrowns were pipping hot. It was the only good experience that I had at Bojangles. There was never a thank you for your patience or a come again. The beauty of it all is that the place wasn't even that busy.
Signed: I hope that Bo knows that they will never see me...
