Smoothie King — Restaurant in Memphis

I purchased a smoothie from the app. A smoothie listed as one of my favorites. Which means I always get the same smoothie. Five to ten minutes drinking my stomach was bubbling. I thought someone accidentally put a massive amount of fiber in it. I put it in the freezer to return to the store for a remake. They agreed to remake it but when I arrived they told me the owner made it so it couldn’t be wrong , because I guess he is perfect and doesn’t make mistakes!!! I wait thinking I am waiting for my smoothie but I guess I was waiting for the owner to get there. When he arrived I was standing outside with two WM. He came up and spoke to them and not me. He then went in the building and came to the window to help them never asked me what I needed. It was so obvious one of the men apologized to me. He said I’m sorry if I skipped you. I thanked him and let Him know they were already making my smoothie even though it was horrible the way I was being treated. After he took care of both men and they were gone he got to me. Instead of apologizing and taking accountability for the mixup. He asked did I want to change anything about a smoothie I have saved on the app. I told him no because I always get the same smoothie. He then let me know that in the future he would need the smoothie back I let him know I had given the smoothie to the woman who helped me when I arrived. When he finally did hand me the smoothie He asked did I want to taste it there In from of him!!! I told him no because I drank maybe a fourth of when my stomach started hurting. Furthermore I guess I should stand there and drink a fourth of a smoothie as fast as I can so he can see if it makes my stomach hurt. Maybe I was wrong !! Maybe fiber wasn’t added to it but something was wrong with it!! Sir I did BUY the original smoothie and returned the item for replacement. It wasn’t a free smoothie!!!! Also before I left he advised me that he heard it was a stomach bug going around!!! So I guess an apology and some accountability was too much to ask for!!! Smoothie King has been one of my favorite places to grab a healthy meal replacement of snack. Last night I went through the drive thru at this location and ordered the Cocoa Haze Acia bowl. When we got to the window the girl asked me if I was eating it in the car or later. I told her at home since I am driving . She said we have one already in the freezer made but I can make you a new one, I said great. Well I should have looked at it and tasted it before I left because the fruit was spoiled and rotten. The whole bowl tasted horrible. And this was my Favorite treat! And of course did not want to drive all the way back to the store, no one should have to that ever. Extremely disappointed. I went to this new location of Smoothie King on Whitten Road, and I had an amazing experience. The manager here, Anthony, provided awesome customer service: He asked for my name when taking my order and addressed me as such at the window, which was a pleasant surprise, as I’ve never had that done before at any Smoothie King. I ordered a 20 oz Vegan Coffee Mocha, and he suggested that I tried peanut butter in it. His suggestion was such a great addition to this smoothie, and the peanut butter completely leveled up the flavor profile of the Vegan Coffee Mocha!! Overall, I had such a great experience at this Smoothie King location and will definitely be back. Anthony is a great choice for management!...
