When I visit a city, I always research anything local. For beer, it's really important to me to seek out local breweries and taprooms that support and showcase them. Hammer and ale hit the mark dead on. I didn't get a count while I was there, but there were at least 20+ local/regional beers on tap. I allowed who I assume was the owner assemble a 6 beer flight for me and he provided a great selection. This a cozy nook of a space with a great spacious and casual patio right in the street of a hip neighborhood. I am certainly hoping to get back there before I leave in a few days. Thanks for having me!!

Low key & brilliant!! This is the kind of place I've been looking for back in Louisiana. Music just loud enough to prevent awkward silence... environment just dark enough to be comfortable without being so dark you don't see who you're talking to... it's the perfect place to unwind after dinner with a friend or two. The guys running the place we're very gentlemanly, funny, and kind. If I lived in Memphis, I would definitely frequent this spot. Cheers! 🍻

I was googling for craft beer in Memphis and glad this placed showed up in the search. I passed by the place and already felt that this would be a good place to hangout while waiting for my father. I was like a kid in a candy store. Happy to have enough options, a mix of NEIPAs, Session IPAs, a stout and even beers inspired by the geologists Hutton & Smith. The vibe was relaxed. I would definitely go back again.

Kevin and David are great people with great taste in beer. My recommendation for going to this place - get to know Kevin and David. Chat with them when they're not busy! They've really gotten to know my husband's and my very different taste in beer. I am pretty much 110% comfortable taking their recommendations without even looking at the menu. If you're looking for more info about this awesome place - mostly a great place to drink. Order at the counter and bring it to an indoor or outdoor table. Specializes in awesome local beers, but also serve liquors, I think wines, and canned sparkling seltzers. They have great snacks that span from light chips or nuts to great sandwiches, but it's probably not a dinner destination, mostly just stuff to keep your stomach from rumbling while you drink. Only one bathroom, so don't wait too long in case there is a wait, but it's clean. Nice people. Nice customers. Most...

This is a very nice place to hang out and drink some beers. The place offers a various of beers from the tab. They have tables indoors as well as outdoors. This is a great place to get your evening started, due to the fact that they are not open all night long. The beers we had were delicious and we liked them. The bartender was friendly and inviting, we had the chance to try the beers before we ordered them. During our stay in Memphis, we visited the place two times. I can recommend visiting this place and trying...
