I ordered from Margaritas through Door Dash and I was so excited. Their menu looked great and I was in the mood for Mexican food. The order took a little long to prepare but I expected that on a holiday. Well my excitement quickly dissolved when I got our order. 1. They forgot the guacamole, which I was really looking forward to. 2. They have some chef specialty called La Tampiquena that is supposed to be a tour of Mexico for $15. It was just shrimp, steak, and chicken with two empanadas and nachos with cheese. Really? No beans or rice or any kind of side? And no jalapenos like in the description. 3.My son wanted a fajita chicken chimichanga which somehow morphed into just fajita chicken. They need to fix their menu. At least he got sides. But he only got two tortillas for a whole container of fajita meat. Tell me how that makes sense. 4. The Taco Roc Plate was supposed to come with sides. It just had tacos. 5. The quesadilla was just half sized. $10 for a tortilla folded in half with meat and cheese. Definitely not worth the price.
Seriously, this was ridiculous. There are too many Mexican restaurants in the city for someone to be this sloppy. A quick QA would have made all the difference. At least I get a refund for my missing guacamole, but I wish I could get a full refund and have them come get this mess. I usually don't even bother with online reviews but I'm just hangry right now. Maybe it's different eating at the restaurant or doing pick up, but do not order from them using Door Dash. I would have given them 1 star but the food tastes good. It just isn't worth the money I...
Read moreWanted a salad with chicken, steak & shrimpdue to low carb diet...taco salad was recommended by waiter. Was up charged for extra meat ingredients. When they brought it out I was sure there was a mistake...I saw no meat on this $20 salad...a sprinkle of lettuce a glop of guac & sour cream and some grilled onions. The whole mess sat so low in the bowl I was certain they forgot the meat....nope the tiny sprinkle of meat was under the condiments! I complained of course...to no avail. They ended up giving me a small salsa cup of lettuce for additional $1.50....mind you this was my birthday meal! There food is good, the waiterwas friendly & polite but the cheap creaminess left a sour taste in my mouth so I will not be returning. Spent $70 with tip for dinner for 2 with no drinks!Don't feel it was money well spent & my 50th Birthday dinner was essentially ruined.
Returned a year later and ordered the Anaconda burrito for me and my kids! It was mostly burrito bread...such a waste of time and my money. I can't blame anyone but myself because I knew they were shady but this was ridiculous. A picture is worth a thousand words...and oh by the way this costed me about $34! Oh & did I mention I was given one small container of salsa for the large dry burrittos &bag of chips! There I suppose to be one large steak burrito and one chicken....the steak burritto had chicken mixed into it! Unbelievable & just down rt shady! I don't know who giving this restaurant 4&5 stars but It must be there customers who get preferential treatment who ever they are....u...
Read moreAuthentic Mexican food at great prices for the portions of food within each order. Every order is brought to your table very timely and by Servers who enjoy providing great dining experiences for the guests. The food is always fresh and served hot, even when there are waits to get a seat, as the restaurant can be very busy at times. Nothing is too difficult for the Managers and Staff to handle; when you come in to dine, ask for Chris at the door and Adrian who is the Senior Manager in charge; these men are excellent in what they do and you will never leave Margaritas disappointed. There was a point where I was in a bad spot and when no one could or would help, Adrian ordered me food on numerous occasions and let me pay at a later date when things were better. All I can say, is that this degree of empathy and help are reasons why you should come to experience Margaritas; from Adrian onward, everyone here has heart and are class acts one and all. I highly recommend Margaritas Restaurant on Elvis Presley Blvd; there are other locations, but this is the one everyone...
