Golden Beauty — Local services in Memphis

I have not been inside of a hair & beauty supply store in ages. Whenever I did go,, this was my store of choice. The friendly staff, open air feeling of it and huge selections always were strong inticers. But not this time. The store has been remodeled. They've expanded the hair extensions area. But to get to that area,, don't suffer from claustrophobia because you will feel suffocated as you walk in. The entryway is tight with tall shelves that are all fully stocked. The aisles are tight and heaven please help if more than one person is on the aisle at the same time! I was just in awe of the closed in feeling. I only needed a rat tail comb and brush and that was ALL I purchased. Nothing else made me want to spend more time or money! The staff is still friendly and don't hover as much but it's too tight...

So I went in this beauty supply to buy 3 items. Walked out made it home realize I was charged for an item I did not receive, so of course I go back to the beauty supply. They had to run the security video back and guess what?! The plus size cashier they had scanned the item and placed it behind the counter and she kept it. So the employees are stealing items and putting it on receipts of customers. Please check your items because the lady did it more than once that day. As I was leaving an older lady came in also overcharged for an item she did not purchase. Be careful they are scanning extra items and employees are...

The people who work here deliver poor customer service. My wife trusted them to hold her merchandise that she purchased at another store per the direction of the store so she could shop in their store. The employee of the store gave her merchandise to another customer and when was asked about it she was told there is nothing they could do about it. My wife had to get the police involved to get her money back for stuff that was stolen. This is poor customer service on the store and attempted thief...
