Sent this to manager regarding our visit: On Saturday, 4/27/14 around 12:40, my son and I were in the area of the Cordova location. We were so excited to get to enjoy and old favorite from our Wells Station memories. I sent my 11 year old son in to order, as we were running home and had our dog in the car. First of all, out of Rollercoaster (disappointing but not a deal breaker), but after he stood there for 20 minutes waiting for two snowcones , watching people get FOOD that was ordered AFTER he placed his order, I got out to see what was taking so long. After standing with him for about an additional five minutes and no one acknowledging us, nor opening the window to acknowledge us, or the other lady, standing next to us who ordered after my child, who also had still not received her one snowcone. Finally I hollered in the window at the ten teenagers who continued to laugh and ignore me, one young man came up and asked our order and the other ladies… she then received her order BEFORE ours. When I expressed the ridiculousness of the situation to the young lady, who brought us our snowcones, she said yeah our systems sucks and it’s our managers fault. so this message is for the manager who apparently runs a sucky system. Can you please quit hiring teenagers who don’t know how to do their jobs and implement a system that actually works so that people do not get overlooked and forgotten about when y’all are slow.. at the very least someone should have said, “are you waiting on something?” as opposed to just ignoring, laughing off and rolling their eyes. Very unprofessional and highly disappointing. Given fond memories we have of Jerry’s Sno Cones…. I’d also suggest hairnets for all these girls with super long hair and gloves for the ones with 3 inch nails making the ice cream…. Probably wouldn’t have even noticed these things if our order had been given in a timely manner..
This is response I received “ Tha noon is for letting me know”…. Email from a “David Acklin”…. This also solidified the overall unprofessional experience my son and I had. I miss the old Jerry’s…. Cordova...
Read moreI went to Jerry’s Snow Cone drive-thru and couldn’t see the menu, so I searched it up online. I don’t come here often — when I do, I always get the “tropical punch,” or so I thought, and pink lemonade.
I got to the window, they gave me my snow cone, and I was wondering why it wasn’t red — it was yellow. I didn’t question it and pulled off. I took a couple of bites and felt like I tasted banana and coconut, which I’m allergic to.
So I turned around and let them know, “Hey, I was supposed to have tropical punch and pink lemonade.” They took the snow cone, and a different lady came back to the window and handed me the same exact cup, then closed the window without saying a word. I just sat there, and she finally came back.
I told her, “You just handed me the same exact cup back,” and she said, “Yes, ma’am.” I explained what I asked for, and she said, “That is tropical punch and pink lemonade.” I told her, “It tasted like banana, and I have an allergy to it,” and she replied, “It doesn’t have banana in it — I watched my manager make it herself,” with an attitude.
Mind you, I had no attitude toward this girl, so when she gave me one, I just asked, “Well, can I just get a refund?” They have a no-refund policy, so I asked for only pink lemonade, no punch. She told me I would have to pay for it to be remade.
I asked her, “Why?” She said, “Because that’s not what you asked for originally.” I said, “But isn’t it usually red?” She told me, “That’s fruit punch.” Mind you, fruit punch wasn’t on the menu I was looking at, so I assumed the only punch was tropical punch — since I come here every once in a while and order the same thing.
I just told her, “Don’t worry about it,” and drove off without my snow cone or refund. I won’t be returning to a place where the staff is rude and tells me I have to pay for my snow cone to be remade.
A picture is provided of the menu I was looking at, with no fruit...
Read moreVisited the drive thru; ordered a peach and strawberry supreme sno cone w/ light ice cream and extra sweet cream. Once it was passed to me I could feel that the cup was extremely hard, which to me, is an indication of lack of juice. So I checked and slightly past the lip of the cup, throughout the bottom, was plain white ice lol. No juice had touched it at all. I returned to the store and went inside. The young man at the counter asked me if I wanted it remade or to just add syrup. Since given the option, I asked it be remade being that it wasn’t made correctly to begin with. The young man took my snocone and went to start remaking it. At that time another young man stopped him and they walked further around to where I could no longer see them. At that point I knew I was about to get some bad customer service. The young man returned and stated that he could not remake the order and he took the initiative to add cream. I then requested a full refund, being that I was given the option at first but now it’s being retracted. He, again, took my snocone and returned and said that a refund wasn’t optional either. Whereas I was very annoyed I just left because unfortunately this isn’t my first rodeo w/ bad customer service @ Jerry; however, it was previously the White Station location, that is no longer open. These aren’t .50/1.00 old fashion sno ones. I paid right at 7$ and I was fine w/ that price had I received a good finished product. And when I asked nicely for it to be remade, not because I ordered wrong, yet because they poorly fixed my order, I was turned away unsatisfied as if I’d made some sort of mistake. Thanks again Jerry’s for your grand...
