FOOD I can't help but rave about their Redbirds Roll - it's my absolute favorite for 18 years now. It's a meal all in itself. Imagine a California roll with crispy crab inside and cooked shrimp on the top. I also like that is pays homage to our baseball team, the Memphis Redbirds. And the Cucumber Rolls? The freshness and flavor burst in your mouth, truly a refreshing treat, and you feel very light after eating it. Oh, and don't forget have some green tea; it's the ideal way to round off a fantastic dining experience and help you digest the meal.

It's not just the food that makes this place special; Sekisui Pacific Rim goes the extra mile by using eco-friendly paper straws, demonstrating their commitment to the environment and, of course, saving those adorable turtles.

AMBIANCE The ambiance at Sekisui Pacific Rim is hip and chic. In the back of the restaurant, they have an aquarium that serves as mood lighting along with a massive art centerpiece that adds to the overall charm. The art features throughout the restaurant really set the mood for a unique dining experience.

When it comes to the seating arrangement, their artsy tables and layout also contribute to the cool and contemporary atmosphere. And if you're looking for a more intimate experience, I highly recommend the cozy sushi bar off to the side - it's the perfect spot to watch the talented chefs work their magic.

The waitress we had tonight was not pleasant at all and it felt very racially motivated. She did not introduce herself at all. She asked what we wanted to drink but did not give my Mom a chance to answer and just walked away ,rude. She did the same thing once she took our orders again just blatantly rude. She never came to check on us inbetween times. It was not that crowded and she had 3 tables if not less including us. We were served dirty silverware and plates and she never offered us a refill. Now this was a celebratory meal because I Stage IV Breast Cancer and try to celebrate the small wins when I can, however the waitress ruined it for me. The one refill we did get was a dirty coke togo cup. The other waitress were nice and interacting with us but the one we had was not pleasant at all. The food was subpar also but I was glad you all decreased your prices.We were the only African American family during this time which has never been a problem before since I've been coming here since I have been in middle school so like 15+ years. Been here multiple times. Everything is always wonderful, the wait staff are always helpful, informative and polite, quick to do their job without overcrowding or being intrusive. The food is not only beautiful but tastes great. The atmosphere is pretty as well as relaxing, the portions are perfect, and reasonably priced. Absolutely love bringing people here for the first time. Also, with so much closed by 9 or 10 pm in Memphis the late night hours without the food being greasy, heavy or breakfast related or catering to the drunken people freshly released from bars is absolutely phenomenal. It's a real bonus to have healthy, delicious options that defy the normal "late night" niche.
