Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Memphis

I love Sonic, especially the route 44 drinks! so, I’ve been ordering through the app because they’re half priced fountain drinks when you use the app. I always get cherry vanilla Dr.Pepper, unfortunately they’ve been using the slush cherry flavoring rather than the actual cherry flavoring from the fountain station. the first time, I’m like “whatever, maybe they’re out of the fountain mix” I used to work at sonic, so I’m pretty understanding. It happened again, and I know they’ve had to have had a truck run since the last time I went, so they should have the actual flavoring it should come with. NOPE, still the horrible slushy mix they’re using!! I wouldn’t have such a problem if maybe they warned someone that they are out of a certain product, but no, they just make whatever they can out of whatever they have. The slushy mix is just so strong, it’s overpowering to the point where I can’t even taste my vanilla or Dr.Pepper at all. If I wanted pure cherry slushy mix with a lid on it, I would have asked for that. The next time I order, I decide to do something different and order a route 44 sweet tea with raspberry. THEY PUT BLUE RASPBERRY IN IT! (Yesss!! There IS a difference) also, the manager is extremely rude, Eric is his name. Not the go to drink stop anymore, like sonic should be, something should be done about this location, they need better management and better training because obviously the people making drinks aren’t being trained properly. I arrived at this location at 12:54. I placed my order using the Sonic app and submitted it at 12:57. I checked in and waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually the sign showed that my order was on its way. That was a LIE. I had to wait some more. Eventually about 5 minutes later my food was brought to the car. To my dismay, my burger wasn't right. I pressed the button and told them they'd given me the wrong burger. They ordered the replacement, and as I was waiting, what appeared to be one of the cooks stormed out of the restaurant, came to the car, and asked for the old burger. I had it waiting for them and immediately handed it over. She took it and slammed it in the garbage can as she walked back inside. I have no idea what all that was about.

I was hoping that redoing my order would only take a couple of minutes. But they took just as long to do it as my original order. And as before, the order said it was on its way .... and I waited ... and waited .... my tots and drink were long gone by the time my burger arrived. Finally at 1:34 I left this Sonic. The only reason I gave them three stars was the replacement burger ... when I eventually got it .... was hot and fresh.

The young lady that took my order was horrible "what else" that's what she said each time I ordered an item. Oreo blast pleaee- "what else" I added a kids meal- what else... no suggestive selling just what else after each item.... I had an almost 30.00 ticket for me and my 2 y/o granddaughter

The young lady that brought the food was everything!!!! Smiles and hellos!! She greeted my grandbaby...complete opposite from the young lady that took my order. The young lady that delivered my order... read the ticket to me to make sure everything was there. I asked for peppermint but she didn't bring any with the order...I said that it was okay AND SHE INSISTED that I let her run back in and get some...even though it was very clear that they were busy...so I said it...girlll you guys are busy... you go ahead as i started back out of my stall...she said NO and ran to get the peppermint so I pulled back into to my spot... this baby comes out with a water cup full of peppermint!!! Now that's service!!!. I hut her with another 2.00 on top of the 2.00 I gave her before she got the peppermint. Smh... I sure wish that my experience could have been that way from beginning to end.
