Krystal — Restaurant in Lakeland

This was our first ever experience at a Krystal restaurant and if it's any indication of how other Krystals are we will never be back! I am rating this restaurant with one star only because it is clean and well kept. However I would give the service negative 5 stars if I possibly could. There were at least 7 employees in the restaurant, 2 couples dinning in (including my husband and I), and a drive thru full of cars. There was only one person preparing food, the others were gathered by the drive thru window. We waited 15 minutes on our food and didn't recieve the milkshake we ordered. My husband asked for it as we were leaving and he was told someone would make it for him. No one did. I went back to refill my drink and overheard the employee who said they would make it asking another employee if she ever made it. Then I see them start preparing it. Throughout the entire experience employees were running food out to the cars from the drive thru because they were "so" busy they were having the customers pull around and wait. The lack of teamwork and direction here is going to run this location into the ground. I was working in the Lakeland area, and I seen that they had a Krystal's. I'm not really a breakfast person so I normally get the burgers if I ever stop at one in the morning. So this morning, I decided to stop there before work, I went through but the drive thru. I sat at the speaker waiting for someone to take my order for 5 minutes. I pulled up to the window and u seen customers inside eating but no employees. So I thought I would try my luck inside. I'm inside the restaurant and I seen someone at the window taking orders now. The lady at the window said she would right with me. 10 minutes later, I'm still waiting as she keeps taking orders at the window. Another customer comes and the lady at the window still taking other people's orders and ignoring the customers at the counter. The lady and we're discussing the horrible service. Then another lady( who's attitude was rude and unprofessional) that works there came and took our order. The food was horrible. Bread was hard, meat was cold and the fries were actually the only thing good and hot. I will never return to this location. They need a new staff who wants to work and takes pride in what they do no...

Experience was horrible! I went earlier in the day and they told me it would be an 8 minute wait for Krystal burgers. I was in a hurry so I just left. Still craving for a Krystal, I went back that evening and went in the drive thru. They gave me my drink with almost no ice and it was in something that looked like an ice cream cup (domed and huge hole in the top). They then asked me to pull to the front of the store and wait for my food. I could do it because it was already full with others waiting their food. The woman at the window realized the situation and said I could sit at the window. Almost 10 minutes later, she comes to the window and hands me a bag. It was not at all what I ordered. She took it back and after a couple of minutes came back with what I had ordered. At least I thought it was. After pulling away I realized that none of my cheese Krystals had cheese and the buns on all of them were hard as toast!
