Definitely one of the better taco experiences we have had since moving to Tennessee, but still not quite what we're used to from dining in Southern California as well as Mexico.
I ordered an al pastor and asada tacos. While the taste was superior to competitors in the area, the meat definitely had a fatty and processed texture (easy to chew, but too easy to chew).
Service was good, the tacos seemed a little pricey, the side of slaw served with the tacos was tasty.
I've been a taco connoisseur since the 80's when we would go down to Avenida Revolución in Tijuana, Baja California. Al Pastor freshly sliced off a spit-roasted grill is incredible, sadly haven't found a similar experience yet in western Tennessee.
This is an edited review as my wife and her friend went today. Both of their orders were wrong. My wife was missing two tacos, she notified the order taker and paid for the missing tacos. After waiting awhile she went back up and asked if the order was going to take much longer, the order taker was rude. I don't get how you can have a tip jar on the counter and be rude to paying customers.

Read moreAfter reading some of the reviews I have now figured out why they refuse to get my order right. I ask for everything on my taco but the never put the onions and cilantro on tacos. They only put chicken and cheese on my taco even after requesting EVERYTHING on my taco. Sent the tacos back. They still returned the taco with no onions or cilantro. Before that she actually held my order until after she clear all of the other customers out. She called me up there and simply reached for order that she placed to the side. I do not feel that u deserve a tip if you just took my order and did not do any service work. The tacos use to be good now they are skimping on ingredients!! I mean, who wants a taco with just cheese and chicken. It really seem that I only have a problem when the women are at the register taking my order. Being a woman myself this really pains me. Next time they get my order wrong I will be dumping it right in the parking lot for them to clean up for themselves. Shouldn’t have to beg for ingredients on...
Read moreI picked up food from here for the first time for a family dinner. Shrimp taco, vegetable taco, and a steak torta.
If you like eating food as-is and not custom, you should be fine. My husband said the shrimp taco was the best he'd had in a very long while, and that the vegetable taco was good as well.
The torta I ordered with no lettuce for my pickier eaters. When I got home and opened it, it was smothered with lettuce (not just a sprinkling, absolutely smothered), and the 'steak' was chopped more like ground beef.
The food is high quality and fresh, a tad bit pricy at over $3 per taco, but restaurant quality. We likely will not be back if we need dinner for the picky eaters in the family, too, but my husband may eat there again.
Great service and atmosphere as well, for a food truck set-up (covered pavilion waiting/eating area outdoors with a...
