I worked here and i ABSOLUTELY dislike this place and the mangers there with it and this is an essay on Whataburger: A Cry for Fairness and Respect
Introduction: In the fast-paced world of fast food, Whataburger has long been a popular destination for hungry individuals seeking a quick and satisfying meal. However, behind the cheerful facade of this beloved restaurant lies a disturbing reality: the unfair treatment of its hardworking employees. This essay aims to shed light on the issue of high labor and the unjust practice of managers sending employees home before their scheduled shifts at Whataburger. The emotions of anger and frustration are justified when employees, who are dedicated and valuable team members, are subjected to such mistreatment.
Body Paragraph 1: The Hardworking Team at Whataburger Whataburger's employees are the backbone of its success. They arrive at work every day, ready to serve customers with a smile and ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant. These individuals put in their best efforts to provide quality service, often under stressful circumstances. Their commitment and dedication deserve acknowledgment and fair treatment in return.
Body Paragraph 2: The Burden of High Labor Costs While it is understandable that businesses must manage labor costs to maintain profitability, burdening the employees with the consequences of high labor costs is unjust. Whataburger's management should recognize their employees' hard work and dedication by providing fair compensation and reasonable working conditions. Employees should not be the ones to bear the brunt of cost-cutting measures.
Body Paragraph 3: Unfair Early Dismissals One of the most disheartening practices at Whataburger is the tendency of managers to send employees home before their scheduled shifts are completed. This practice not only disrupts the employees' work-life balance but also deprives them of their rightful wages. Employees rely on their scheduled hours to meet their financial obligations and support themselves and their families. By sending employees home early, managers disregard the value of their employees' time and effort.
Body Paragraph 4: The Impact on Employee Morale Unfair practices, such as sending employees home early, not only affect individuals' financial stability but also significantly impact their overall morale. When employees feel undervalued and disrespected, their motivation and engagement in their work suffer. This, in turn, affects the quality of service provided to customers and tarnishes Whataburger's reputation as a customer-oriented establishment.
Body Paragraph 5: The Call for Fairness and Respect It is high time for Whataburger's management to address the concerns and grievances of its employees. Fair compensation, reasonable working conditions, and adherence to scheduled shifts are not unreasonable demands. By treating employees with respect and providing them with a fair and supportive work environment, Whataburger can foster a positive atmosphere where employees feel valued, motivated, and satisfied.
Conclusion: Whataburger's employees are hardworking team members who deserve fairness and respect. The practice of managers sending employees home earlier than scheduled and burdening them with high labor costs is unjust and detrimental to both the employees and the company's overall performance. By rectifying these unfair practices and valuing their employees' contributions, Whataburger can create an environment where employees are motivated, loyal, and proud to be part of the Whataburger family. It is only through fairness and respect that Whataburger can continue to thrive as a beloved fast...
Read moreFinally went by and line wasn’t too bad. Maybe because it was raining. Still waited 45 minutes. Tips for those going. You get a free burger if you sign up in their app. Make sure they actually take off the money for it. They scanned my phone and the money didn’t come off twice. Finally a manager had to manually remove the cost of the free burger. Also, CHECK YOUR BAG before you drive off. They forget food. Everyone ahead of us had something missing and so did we. Now for the food, it was 50/50. The fries sucked. They weren’t hot. They obviously had been sitting for a while. The onion rings were soggy. The burger was great but it wasn’t the same as I remember other Whataburger restaurants that I’ve gone to in the past. I would recommend not getting any condiments on it and adding your own at home or whenever/wherever you eat at. Otherwise the burger gets really messy by the time you eat it. It just falls apart. And I recommend asking for the smaller bun (yes they have a smaller bun) because their regular bun is too much bread. Be aware too that they charge for EVERYTHING extra. Cheese is 55 cents and they add a slice for each burger patty. It adds up. Sauces are also 55 cents a piece. So pay attention when they ask if you want sauces or ketchup on the side. They charge for it all. It makes your bill go up quickly. Other than that. It wasn’t all that special. We will be going back once more in the future for breakfast and after that probably won’t go but on the rare occasion. Just didn’t impress us enough. I used to eat at Whataburger in Texas 20 years ago and it was wonderful. This place was disappointing compared to that. Hopefully breakfast is better. I have such good memories of their taquitos and breakfast on...
Read moreThis was my first time at Whataburger and I’d have to say, it was the absolute worst experience ever! I went during lunch time but the thing is that there was no typical lunch crowd. Sure it was people there but it wasn’t crowded crowded. I stood in like for 10 minutes until finally someone decided to acknowledge that I was there. Placed my order and then waited 30 MINUTES to get my food and again, IT WASNT LUNCHTIME BUSY! From where I was standing at the counter I noticed that they cared more about servicing the drive thru vs the front counter. So fun after 30 minutes I got my food, got home and it was COLD! HOW??? I paid $22.37 for two meals that were COLD! I just don’t understand how they are slow as Christmas when it came to preparing food. Now, on to the quality of the food, besides it being COLD, everything else was absolutely HORRENDOUS!!! I got a double burger and it’s already ridiculous that you have to add cheese for 60 cents. I look at my receipt and I got charged for two slices of cheese and only received one. I asked for ketchup and mayo on both burgers and it wasn’t there. Just mustard only. You will see that in the picture and the fries were COLD AND OLD! Taste wise overall, it was well below mediocre! I had to reheat our food which is something I shouldn’t have had to do. To make this right, I need a refund of my $22.37 because the quality of the food received, did not warrant my $22.37…PERIOD! I’ve already submitted this same review on the website, under the contact us online. So don’t tell me to do that because it’s...
