We have been with Frase for many years and had our first bad experience with them over two plugs for our camera system. We lost the image for the cameras for about a month before we could we a technician from Frase to service the system. We discovered it was two plugs that extended the internet signal was the problem. The technician did not have the parts on the truck and needed to be ordered. We paid over $400.00 for the service call and I asked the technician if we were going to be charged for another service charge because he did not have the two plugs on the truck. He did confirm it would only take about 5 minutes to change the plugs.
About a week later I did get a call and the plugs were in at a cost of an additional $110.00 and needed to install the plugs. A technician took less than 5 minutes to change the plugs and the image intently appeared up on the cell phone. He conformed we were not going to be charged for a second service call because they did not have the parts.
We again received an additional bill for over $400.00 to cover the second service charge which amounted to to $33.33 per minute to change out two plugs they did not have on the first visit. discussions with Frase Management stated the service people were not authorized to determine the charges for service calls.
My suggestion, fine another company to service Frase Equipment. I did keep the carton the plugs came in and found them on the internet for $62.34 when they charged over $110.00 plus the two service charges.

Everything is routed through their sales department. They become agitated if you donāt want monitoring. Seriously, they start the call being very pleasant but start cutting you off and being short with you if you donāt want an expensive monitoring contract. And if management reads this, itās not a matter of tweaking your sales people into doing a better job , rather itās upstream from them. Iāve been doing business with Frase for about 30 years for residential and business. I always give my business to the local guy when possible. I will continue my relationship with your company only as long as I must. And if you donāt sign up for the expensive monitoring service theyāll tell you that they no longer repair their own system as they did to me. Iād bet my bottom dollar that if Iād agreed to the monitoring contract that they wouldāve found a way to fix my alarm system instead of telling me that they will no longer service it. Iām sure that itās a tough market to be in these days but thatās no excuse for becoming what youāve become.
They wonāt quit charging you. Despite requesting, by written correspondence and by phone, that they quit monitoring my system at one of our office buildings and informing them that they arenāt to bill me anymore they continue to debit my account. And itās a considerable...

He was very courteous and professional. He took a short lunch break, arriving back at the house earlier than he had said. I donāt know how he did as much as he did as quietly or as cleanly as he did it! Except for the new panels on the walls you would have never known he had done anything. He explained, very patiently how to use the wall unit and key fobs and even helped me set up my phone. We were impressed when we put in passwords that he walked away and looked in the other direction. He never rushed us when we asked him questions. Our consultant when we bought the system was as good as the technician. No high pressure selling. Courteous and respectful as we asked him numerous questions.
