This was Alfred's 2ND Location and also operates as does Walnut & Vine (Original&Museum), Menlo Park is his second. THIS is classic from 1971 and just as good service & staff post COVID era. Not many people are brave to try the chai tea with oat milk and chocolate powder, add nutmeg grinded topping your oatmeal, pass on the blueberries, unless you're a sugar fanatic. Miss the Elliot named Snow Leopard white tea or Russian Caravan. Since 2016 they acquired Mighty Leaf from famed Marin Co. Anniversary Blend, ran and owned by women is a top notch blending notes of cocoa and raspberries. I buy full pounds every year. The coffee is Peet's - what can I say? The service is really good and they get to know the many regulars. I often come in and the barista will ask me if I am ordering the usual! Quite unusual for a place as dead busy as it is. Glad they have added more seating.

The manager has been really helpful when I wanted to explore different beans/blends for espresso drinks I make at home, I feel like I have gotten some really great out-of-the-box recommendations. She has also been helpful with espresso machine repairs and advice, not hesitating to recommend a product or service not offered by Peet's if that was the best thing for me. ...

Peet's Coffee is the best I've ever had and it's all we drink at home. You can buy it by weight there and they'll either grind it for you there or you can grind the beans yourself at home. They also serve several kinds of coffee drinks and teas at the store as well as pastries, and there is equipment for brewing coffee and tea (and mugs, etc) for sale. Some people find Peet's too strong, so this is a place for serious coffee aficionados. Their coffee is more robust than Starbucks and you won't find as many as of the sweeter drinks made with...
