As we entered the building we noticed fly traps on the main entrance 🤔. As we took our seats we were informed by the less than enthusiastic waitress that parties over 6 can't get split bills(We had a party of 6 mind you). We were able to split 2 ways fortunately after some back and forth with the unhappy faced waitress. After asking for water 3 times our party was able to get water for every person. I say less than enthusiastic waitress because she had no need or want to help our table. We all agreed that she definitely had an attitude problem or was having an obviously bad day. As we sat in the restaurant, we watched the temperature go from 75 to 81 on the thermostat behind our table.. The food came out and was okay but between the heat and the horrible service. Our appetite was less than good. At the end of everything we got our tab and was charged a 20% gratuity and was treated like a party over 6 even though our party did not exceed 6 people. I did not plan on leaving A great tip for the waitress Because it was not great service and was charged for more Then I would expect to pay for someone with mediocre service. There were many upbeat happy servers in this restaurant. But we got the unlucky, pick of the bunch. It seemed, and we most likely will be requesting someone else In the event, we go there in the future. I left a picture of the server in the photos shared. So maybe the owner can do something about this person who is bringing them moreal of the restaurant down....
Read moreWonderful breakfast diner! We had brunch there and we were all very happy with what we got. I had the Crab Crêpe. It was filled with a goodly amount of Crab. Too much avocado fir my taste and the crêpe itself was a bit over cooked, but I ate the whole thing! It came with a cup of fruit (or Bagel or toast). I also got a half order of French Toast with powder sugar; which I could not finish at the restaurant, but devoured as soon as I got home. Others in my group had the Corned Beef Hash Benedict, a Pesto Omelette with Chicken, and the Chicken Fried Steak. They were all very happy with their dishes. Now the Steak was buried in gravy and although it didn't look appealing (see pic), I was assured it was delicious, especially the gravy. We were given our own pot of coffee which I really liked. And the service was just about right. Parking under restaurant, in public lot behind and on the street if you are adventurous. Even though they don't take reservations, we were able to get a table right away. Good place to go for an American type brunch or breakfast (they have lunch items, but I...
Read moreHm,....what an experience. Our server, Ana Lilia R was not friendly at all! I asked her about the menu and her thick accent made me barely couldn't understand her at all. That's fine, I asked my boyfriend to speak Spanish to her instead. She seemed unknowledge of the food and annoyed when I asked what the freshly made home juice was. Instead, she rushed us to place an order. When we finally got our meal, she came with a check and machine and asked us to pay. $#E%^& The food was just being served! We were even not halfway done. The next thing, when we punched on the survey on the pay machine she brought to us. I put my experience as one star and service was the main issue, she asked me to skip that part. I told her, no, I want to fill this part. I was still nice and gave her tips even though she never came back and checked how the food was or refilled out water. We will never come back again FOR SURE. I would rather support other businesses and make my money worth spending.
The quality of the food was only okay considering they seemed like a fine dinner. But...
