Updated 10/12/24: This place included olive pits in a $12 loaf. We noticed the sign, and sure, there might be bits of pits in olive bread, but no, there weren’t a couple pit bits, there were many entire pits within the loaf!!. I can’t believe an establishment would sell this. It’s dangerous to eat and irresponsible of a business to sell— at full price no less! This used to be the best bread around but now, they can’t be trusted. Either toss it or significantly lower the price so the consumer is aware of the gravity of your error in the product.

Customer service is great. One guy always there very friendly and smiling- not easy when so many people! My whole family loves the cookies and get them weekly. Got the original chocolate chip and peanut butter! Also love the double chocolate. They are super dense so I can have a small piece each day to last me throughout the week :)

I walked by this pop up on my way to a morning appointment. On the way back I stopped there--- three times!!! Oh my Goodness!!! I had a lemon poppy muffin-- I normally don't like muffins but that lemon poppy was a piece of heaven. I came back to pick up other items. And then a third time to get their card!

I came into little sky bakery for the first time earlier today and could not have been more disappointed in my experience. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and sat down at the bar seating. If you’ve ever been to little sky bakery you would know that these cookies are quite large, so understandably it took me a while to eat it. While I was eating my cookie I made brief, casual conversation with the worker behind the counter. The manager of the little sky bakery farmers market booth (blonde bob, karen energy) came in multiple times while I was eating my cookie and kept on making comments about my presence to the worker behind the counter. The third time that she came in she informed the worker behind the counter to tell me I had to leave. There were multiple other people around who had been there just as long as I had, yet they were not asked to leave. I suspect that I was asked to leave because I had briefly been talking to the worker behind the counter, which was the most pleasant customer service I had received at this establishment. As I was leaving multiple other customers who had been to the bakery before commented about how they had noticed this new manager and expressed how mean she had seemed in all their interactions with her. I am quite disheartened that I was not able to finish my cookie in peace, ruining my...

Their bran muffins are to die for. I am giving them 3 stars for the horrible customer service that we received today. We buy their muffins every week from either the Mountain View or Palo Alto farmer's market. Today we decided to drive down to their Menlo Park store location. One of the gals helping us and other customers was very friendly and helpful just like the others at the farmer's market. She even went to the back to get us our bran muffins. But the other one who was only taking payment was frowning so much that I was about to ask if she was okay or was just being RUDE on purpose. We spent $96 on muffins, sandwiches and cookies today and she was throwing the bags of sandwich and cookies from a distance in the brown bag while me and my husband were holding it as if we were untouchables - SO RUDE!!! NO SMILE NO GREETINGS as if the customers were an inconvenience to her. Please make her work in the back where there is no interaction with any customers and she could be as GRUMPY and IMPOLITE as her heart...

I was at philz getting coffee around 7:30 AM and stopped by the bakery on the way out. The bread was there, the people were there, the payment device was there (and I was carrying cash too), yet I was met with “we’re not ready yet, come back at 8:00”.

I don’t understand, since when did buying or selling things become so complicated?

If you’re already there and your bread is there, why are you losing my business? I’m already here to support local businesses and pay you $10 for a bread roll that I can get for $4 at Safeway! I like your bread and I have put an effort to get it!

It’s about time local business owners bring back the connivence and simplicity that we were used to instead of trying to copy systems from giant...
