I have been coming to the Ogden club for years under all ownerships with my family. Tonight has made it so I will never return and my family was absolutely disgusted with the service provided. The food had zero complaints, but our server made it very clear we were an inconvenience to her. A group of people had been ready to leave and saw us waiting for a table so they told us to quick take their spots before it got taken (open seating). The waitress rolled her eyes at us and said she had to wipe it down yet. Which we said yes we know we’re just grabbing the table so someone else didn’t walk in and do the same. Through the dinner she treated us as the biggest inconvenience for asking even for silverware which was never brought to the table. I mentioned to the manager the rudeness she had provided us. Upon bringing the check she then whispered into my ear “I do not forget faces” and then threw the check on a clipboard into my fathers lap. Never have I been threatened by a waitress in a restaurant. A family member owns a restaurant where we have dealt with some of the worst customers at times and never did any employee treat a customer as this waitress did. I never caught this waitresses name but if she has braces and an attitude like this be on the look out because “she doesn’t forget faces” and more then likely would plan a revenge against you including your food. Sad night at the Ogden club if she continues to work there it’s the managements ill regard to keep its customers safe and served as...
Read moreAfter looking at a few places on TripAdvisor we decided to try Ogdens and we were not disappointed it was not busy about a half dozen other people there when we arrived and maybe another half dozen added to that while we were there so fairly quiet for a grill and bar there were only 2 people working this night a young lady acting as bartender and waitress and a young man doing all the cooking and they did very well even as things got busier. We ordered drinks my lady ordered a local beer called Pick Axe Blond Ale in a bottle which she said was very good and I ordered a Pepsi which was also very good😁. We ordered our food with an appetizer to start the appetizer was the Black and White Cheese Curds, White cheddar curds, fried and tossed with feta cheese and bacon balsamic sauce and served with BBQ dipping sauce and they were Great! My lady ordered a bowl of the Creamy chicken wild rice soup and I ordered a burger they are third pound I got it with bacon and Swiss and it came with fresh made potato chips all our selections were served quickly considering the short staff and they were excellent as my picture will show or won't show as I forgot to get a pic until we had gobbled up everything that's how good it was. When we come through here again this will be our stop for...
Read moreLike going here because they serve vegetarian options. The wild rice burger is real unique, never had something like that. The sweet potato fries are the best around here. We went last Friday for fish, my grandson had a wrap he enjoyed. The cod was crispy and not over cooked with a crunchy batter. Could of had more seasoning, was sort of bland. Its all you can eat, but three pieces were enough. The coleslaw left a lot to be desired. It was stale tasting and no zip to it that it should have. They need to to find a better recipe, my recipe 😂. They first brought out our meals the sweet potato fries were burnt, no idea why they sent them out like that. They gladly made new batches for us. Thats not what will stop us going there because they have options that you can't find around here. Its mostly standard fare around here. Ogden Club is kind of a hidden gem with its unassuming building but worth stopping at. The Art Deco bar is beautiful, the staff always is welcoming and fast at getting to.you to order fast...
