Service was great with helping to find what I wanted to order to-go, atmosphere is what you’d expect from a smokehouse however it’s the worst Barbecue I’ve ever had by far. I worked in a smokehouse for 7 years in the south so I know my barbecue. The pork was tasteless, greasy, and overcooked likely from being in a warmer already pulled. The brisket was the driest I’ve ever had and tasted the same as overcooked chuck roast. Sides were decent. I ordered fries, mac and cheese and of course coleslaw. The slaw was fresh and tasted as such but boy did they didn’t season it with anything it seems. Fries were hand cut, which is nice but the oil is old by the color of them. I ordered their Memphis sauce and Alabama sauce. I’ve never see or had anything like that in my years of eating barbecue in the south from those regions. Sure, there may be somewhere that does it that way but both sauces were awful. The Memphis one was quite thick and more of a Kansas City style one with a bit less sugar and bite in it. The Alabama one closely resembles the white sauce you’d get from a Mexican restaurant and surprisingly had the most heat of anything I ate. Overall, a real disappointment for someone who has eaten barbecue their whole life. The workers were awesome and the decor was what you’d expect from a barbecue restaurant for the size of the place. Can’t stress enough that the workers were great, but it’s just not worth a return visit. Update: I called to give them a heads up on the poor quality and was told that it was just taken out of the smoker.. I added one more picture of the brisket because no smoked meat should be able to hold its own weight. If it’s slow cooked at the right temp for the right amount of time then it should be soft and juicy. Only adding this because of the statement that this is the fresh meat.. I would have been fired if I served this at the smokehouse and would be embarrassed. This one is worth the skip.

Outstanding BBQ, quality renovation of the old “Dairy Treat” ice cream shop (for those like me who can still remember the 1970s).. brisket done right, BBQ chicken.. pulled, or half the bird (bone-in). Smoked beef brisket, chicken, sausage, pit beans, cornbread and sauces.. and lots more.. served on brown butcher paper because these guys know what they’re about! Small inside dining area which fills up quickly.. you may want to call ahead and order out unless you can magically predict a not-so-crowded time of day. As with all worthwhile BBQ.. when they’re sold out, they’re done.. because it takes time to make it great.. so order early! Mmm.. I’m still smelling that great smoky flavor on my fingers as I’m back home writing this review..

In town for a weekend getaway and our hotel recommended Pit Bros for lunch. This was a great suggestion as the food was delicious! You order at the counter and find a spot to sit. Small inside, but enough room while we were there. They bring your food out to your table. I got the pulled pork cheese fries! DO NOT sleep on these! SO much and SO delicious! I could barely put a dent in it! My husbands pulled pork sandwich didn't have a lot of meat, but he shared my fries as well. Their homemade BBQ sauce was delicious too! An employee also recommended other things to check out in the area. Next time we come back, this is a must stop for us!

A MUST TRY! We had the ribs and the brisket. We tried the homemade MOP sauce and the homemade Alabama White sauce. Both sauces complemented the meats very well, but truth be told the meats were delicious without any sauce. The ribs were so meaty and flavorful. The brisket was juicy and felt apart in your mouth - perfectly blackened. We had the smoked beans and homemade, fresh cut fries. We walked in right before noon on Saturday, and it was packed with no tables open. We ordered, a table opened shortly after, and we were eating within 20 mins from ordering. The dining room stayed packed the entire time, but they were running orders out as fast as people came in. They came around to fill our sodas while we waited. Friendly staff. Best BBQ we've had with great prices. Thank...

The pulled pork fries with melted cheese and BBQ sauce on top is delicious! Have ate here several times and usually had a nice time but recently we ordered food and behind us a group of about 10 people ordered large meals for each person while we only ordered 2 meals and they were served before us. We sat and waited as they handed out their food almost to the last person before they wondered what we were still waiting for..by that time the food was Luke warm at best. Everything tasted great still but I didn’t get my barbecue sauce I had ordered for on top of the fries. Seating is limited inside so we sat outside which was nice. More garbage cans out side with the outdoor seating would be a nice addition. Will definitely be...
