After spending the afternoon at the urgent care at Freodtert with one of our toddler twins I realized I had nothing for dinner. I placed an order at 4:43pm for a delivery that showed 14-22 min as the anticipated delivery time. Our toddlers eat at 5pm and had we known we would have made food or placed a pick up order from another pizza restaurant down the road. We placed pizza and dessert orders for the toddlers and one pizza and wing order for the adults. The tracking app showed the order had not left for more than 45 minutes. By that point our toddlers were losing their minds and we literally were giving them crackers. I finally called and the rude person said over and over they were busy and there was 50% off. I kept trying to clarify if they were offering us 50% off? Because they were busy, he didn't really make sense. But told me to hold then the order was out for delivery. I can see the time to delivery and for the next 20 minutes the delivery time didn't change. We had to fee the kids crackers and summer sausage by that point as they were melting down. We called, again, and tried to explain most the order was for the kids, we already fed them. What are they going to do. Again, please hold. Now he comes back on and states he is going to refund the order plus give us a $10 credit. Which seems appropriate. As no adults have yet eaten I mention again the order still says it is not close. He then says yes, you were the next order but I told her not to come but I am refunding you for the food you didn't get (seriously?) and going to give you a $10 credit for the next time you order and have this same horrible experience. So, in summary. They gave customers 50% off, not us. We placed an order with a approximately 17 min delivery timeframe for adults and toddlers. After 45 minutes they told us it was sort of our fault for placing an order when they had a big promo going but or order was on its way. 30 more minutes later they said the same thing cancelled our order and said they would give us a $10 off coupon in the future for the same experience. Good luck DPZ stock...
Read moreSo there is a Large 2 topping for $6.99 deal (carry'out only), right now until 6/8/25 going on. So we decided to get that for dinner tonight. We placed our order online. My wife picked up the order brought it home. My daughter discovered that her pizza DID NOT HAVE ANY SAUCE ON THE PIZZA. SO I CALLED THE STORE. When a team member answered, I cordially asked to speak to a manager. When she came on the phone, she did not introduce herself, say she was the manager nothing. She sounded like an over worked, under appreciated employee who didn't have time to deal with anyone's issues. I calmly explained the issue, she argued with me. Mind you the call on my end was on speaker so my wife and 2 teenage children (16 and 15) heard the call. She claimed there was sauce and after I told her there was no sauce and no bacon she reluctantly said she would re-make the pizzas. Then we discovered that my son's pizza and my wife's pizza also had NO SAUCE. I took pics and headed up to the store. I asked to speak to her, and it took 4 team members to get her attention that there was a customer waiting to speak with her. I explained that we discovered 2 more pizza were made incorrectly and showed her the pics I took. She began arguing in front of her team and without saying the exact words pretty much called me a liar. She then again argued how the pizzas were to be made, then I went into my Gmail to retrieve the receipt. Showed her that they were indeed not made the proper way, she mumbled something under her breath, and stormed away.
In the end the pizzas were remade, but the hassle was totally uncalled for, the unprofessionalism was not what Domino's mission statement is about. We may NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. This is coming from someone who worked for pizza hut and Wisconsin Hospitality Group...
Read moreOrdered food on 3/16/25 deciding to try the curbside pickup. I was notified my food was ready and I arrived at the store a couple minutes later notifying the system I was there. 20 minutes later my food comes out but is missing a pizza, which I informed the young man who brought it to me. He said he would go back in and figure it out. 20 minutes more go by, with the rest of my order slowly getting cold and nothing, so I go inside. I informed them I've been waiting for my pizza at which time they told me they didn't know that. I flat out asked the young man why he didn't tell them, at which time he attempted to lie and say he told the others, which they immediately disagreed with. It turns out my original missing pizza was sitting on the shelf but was so cold by that time, just like the rest of my order, that they made me a new one. The main person said they would call me the next day and give me a credit, which surprise, never happened. Apparently the staff has a problem with being honest with their customers. That just means it's Papa Johns or a local pizza joint from now...
